No One Cares If You're A Day One "Vet"
Literally no one. It means nothing. It's a title. Get over yourself and stop thinking you deserve things more than other people.
(I'm a day one player and it means nothing to me.)
Edit: You're not entitled to free items just because you bought the game before other people. So stop making petitions galore for them. Grow up.
Edit 2: By year 1 I mean "vets" as they call themselves. Also known as the people who think they're entitled to free stuff.
Edit 3: Most Year 1 Guardians don't know how to read edits.
Edit 4: They're still figuring out how to read, maybe one day.
Edit 5: Nearly 400 replies of pure salt. I feel like the Dead Sea.
Edit 6: Nearing 500 replies. Titans had to put up a new wall around the Dead Sea to contain all the salt water.
Edit 7: At 700 replies the Dead Sea salt levels are beginning to drop. Several life forms with the inability to read have been found in the Sea. The Titans have decreased the amount of control on the Sea.
Edit 8: 800 replies and Guardians still haven't read the tags. What a sad time it is.
Edit 9: At 950 replies the salt is beginning to corrupt the hearts of those who reply. Some keep the light strong in themselves and are able to resist it. However, others have fallen victim to it. Those who have fallen now search for anything to try and be correct. The Titans have now put the city on lockdown. More information later on.
Edit 10: This post has been necrobump'd. The Salt has nearly taken control over everyone, fight back, Guardians.

If day one vets meant nothing to you you wouldn't have posted in the first place. When you write about it your giving it meaning, when it's on your mind so strongly that you need to vent it has meaning. So just throwing that out there. And to day one vets who care about being day one it has meaning regardless of what you say the meaning is there because people give it meaning in the first place. Your opinion can't make the meaning go away. Whatevs though, I feel your pain too, I hate self entitled punks. They are the ones ruining this game and it's community.

2 RepliesIt's because many of the year one players have given the feedback that fixed many of the problems Destiny had in year one. We are still in year one and Destiny has tons of problems, but patch 2.0 will fix many of destiny's problems. Who pointed out all those problems that Destiny had? Who gave the suggestions that would fix these problems? It's because year one players helped Bungie make Destiny what it is today. When year two hits, it looks like Destiny will become the game we wanted since launch. And year one players helped with that. We helped Bungie make Destiny continuously improve, and while I'm fine with the shader, sparrow and emblem, many of the "veterans" feel a little ripped off.
