WHY is Hopscotch Pilgrim so damn popular???
I got it on a strike very early on, with a good roll, tried it out once or twice. The stupid thing sucked mega ass and served its purpose by giving me enough weapon parts to upgrade my MIDA. Why do people like it so much????

1 ReplyI used to think that, too. Then today I tried it in Crucible. Two burst headshots: a surefire kill. That was the first time I racked up so many points without using Thorn(I'm a Throrn scrub). It absolutely wrecks people. The only times I died were when I went up against TLW users. And it also brought me my first exotic reward from Crucible: a Mida. [spoiler]so of course today Xur's gonna bring Mida[/spoiler]

6 RepliesA retarded two burst kill weapon. The fact that you can reforge it makes it better than messenger....personally I prefer higher RoF Pulse Rifles, Skorris Revenge being my go to Pulse.

its a 2 shot weapon, that's why. I've dismantled 3 just because its so ugly, ill rather use messenger even if its only 95% stability instead of hop with 100 just because of the looks.

Lol I've got it and it's great, with head seeker, braced frame and hip fire, I use it on most pvp maps. I'd still trade it in for a messenger tho lol

I stick to my 123 SYZYGY. It has Full Auto, High Caliber Rounds, and Third Eye. Other perks are Single Point Sling and Fitted Stock, so I have good options.

It's the messenger but from pve.

5 Replies2 burst kill like the messenger and red death. It more than twice the base stability than these weapons, and is the only one of them with customisable perks. I won't be grinding for it anymore though. Won't be worth it when TTK comes out.

I love this weapon and it's pretty cool to free up an exotic spot. It's been a lot of fun equipping special and heavy exotics recently. The hopscotch takes s little bit of practice especially if you normally main a hand cannon but it's definitely worth it. It shines if you can hang around parts of the map where you can engage players at medium to long range.

But to answer your question it has high aim assist, 5 burst shots and accuracy. Plus the stuff you reroll it to which isnt worth since TTK will have weapons to use.

6 RepliesIt has max stability making it perfect for people who can't compensate for recoil and it kills in 2 bursts to the head. I've tried it before and it certainly wasn't my cup of tea, but I can see why people use it. Same reason people use thorn, really quick ttk that requires extremely little skill to use effectively.

9 RepliesIt has a .73 ttk but it's only good if you're accurate. If you miss the first or second burst then you will most likely lose that gun fight. Learn to aim and give it another shot.
