Thoughts on losing light levels and going to 20?
I know some of you arent smart enough to have spotted this implication, but basically, light levels are being done away with, and normal leveling will resume, this means, you will lose that 34, and start again at twenty when the new dlc releases.
So whats your reaction to that, and the fact all that hard work for gear to level up islost?
Im suspecting that is your face above considering you just figured it out.

3 RepliesPlanet destiny already did a video concerning this and guardians who are at light level 34 will start at 34. But even if that changes its not that big of a deal, it's not even hard to level up.

Think this is a great change. Leveling at the start was much better in my opinion. Leveling with xp instead of what leveling post 20 is, oh random drop, massive power gain! It's silly really. This is just another step in destiny being improved bit by bit, I welcome the changes. I don't really mind releveling if I get put back to 20 either, as far as I now we will be high enough to start the new expansion after the changes anyway, so not really a big deal.

If they didn't do this we would have a hard time leveling our new subclass I like the change only if to get to 30 you must beat vog getting that as a milestone award crota hard for 33 40 for Orx raid . As of now there's 2 strikes rumor is 4, we know of 1 new location Dreadknot is not for noobs. Starting at 34 when there's only 6 more light to go . Lol let's get real 6 light 1 to 2 months tops 20 levels gives us time to learn the taken, beat Orx play content beat hard by November unconfirmed Vex raid possible return of the stranger chick ☺

I know one thing. .... it will be exciting to turn the PS4 on, play Destiny on the 15th of September, and see what. .....really. ....will be going on. I'm excited, stoked , and can't -blam!-ing wait.

1 ReplyI believe I read somewhere that they will start you at the level you were at "light"-wise, so that you can hit the TTK content right away. They're also adding a mechanism to boost one character to TTK level. You won't be reverted back to 20.

1 ReplyWho cares? I mean we have to level up a new subclass anyways. If we reset back to 20 it just means my grinding will be for multiple things. Hell if you prep/store up 5000 exp bounties and daily event packages before TTK drops, you'll probably go up a couple levels right off the bat.

11 RepliesWrong. They have stated that you will start at the level you currently are. If you're 26, you'll start at 26 for TTK. If you're 30, you'll start at 30 for TTK. If you're 34, you'll start at 34 for TTK.
