Buying the Taken King? Read this....
The Taken King should be changed to The King of Taken your Money.
The DLC is overpriced at $40.
It is not worth $40...Activi$ion....as we ALL well know...is disgusting when it comes to scamming people.
Destiny is on its last leg with milking beyond belief since both Bungie and Activi$ion know that all the good games are coming out soon (SW Battlefront, Uncharted 4, Deus Ex, Doom, Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, Need for Speed 2015, etc.)

Just don't buy it. If $40 is too expensive for you to buy then just don't buy it. I'm sick of seeing this posts on the forums. Don't try to persuade someone out of buying something they can afford/will enjoy. Go play a different game and quit bitching on here.

Just red this and honestly for the ammount of content that was announced and so far confirmed by game informer its worth $40 IMO. I havent pre ordered it yet still waiting for more info (bungie twitch streams for instance)

OMG! Please please please stop telling us the consumer how to spend our hard earned money! I work very hard to enjoy the fruits of my labor, $40 U.S. Dollars is nothing to me! I love this game and won't think twice for this purchase. If $40 dollars is a lot to you then you honestly need to stop playing video games and start earning some real freakin wages!

According to their content estimates its more of a "expansion" than DLC. Its going back to basics before DLC and expansion were interchangeable, i.e. Not just a few maps and some weapon skins. Expansion is a whole other chapter of the game, see World Of Warcraft or any other MMO. The price is fair. Will it be worth it? Bungie-vision's track record says no, that's why I'm waiting for reviews or a better deal.
