Can I have A Ketch Already?
Okay so since vanilla game I've understood the Fallen ranking system. We kill the winter Kell and we earn no such appropiate reward as the Queen did. She killed the Wolf Kell... and she got all of his fallen and all of his stuff along with them. As soon as we drop the Kell of Winter.... that Ketch, technically... should have been ours.
Now Taniks... all of those Dregs running around to kill their Leader's killer... so that they earn the respect and leadership over their kin.
Skolas, "Kell of Kells"... we defeated that fella twice. Once was a grand kill in the queens arena. And still... no Ketch.
The Queen is Awoken... so the argument that we are not Eliksni is silly. She did it, so can we.
Not to mention this would be excellent plot filler for giving us a means of reaching Saturn and such places.
This could be an amazing personal social area for clans and friends to show off trophies and the like within their Ketch's Walls. Name your ship, store your jumpships in the Skiff hangar-bay. An upgradable Vault and customizable cosmetics such as banners, lighting, coloring (external and internal), etc.
Upgrade your Ketch with vendors and cosmetic npcs to bring it to life(Fallen maybe?)
This could also be integrated into PvP. But not in the traditional sense.... take the soccer ball or bouncy blue ball and give it purpose!!! Guardian Competitive Sports! Just kidding(maybe).
Thoughts?
(Also Bungie this wouldn't require too much in the department of designing new assets... you have Ketch interiors and a plethora of cosmetic inserts for "furniture".)

Edit: Keep this trending friends! If it stay near the top they may actually consider this. Of course I am getting my hopes up way too early... but still. One can dream.
Edit: We are staying relatively close to the top of the first page!! Thanks for all the support! If anyone has any additional ideas, please dont hesitate to post it. No matter how out-of-the-park it seems. All ideas are valid thoughts.

What about a ketch for each faction? Each faction could run one with all the vendors, bounty masters, etc. And that's how we go to Saturn.

I think we should be able to target a ketch and then raid it to get nightfall like rewards and a random player in that fire team gets the ketch butt all 6 players can have access to it

2 RepliesOkay. We can use this as a means to fiz this whole "Obsolete Legendary" debate. Trophy room. Old raid weapons and gear can be placed on display. May not be able to use them to the full extent at level 40. But seeing all of what you've collected and done on a wall... would remove the feelings of "wasted time", and replace such feelings with sentiment. Please keep this trending.

4 RepliesI really like this idea and I think it is a way to make clans more relevant in destiny too. My idea is each clan has their own ketch with a main social space, with mini games, shooting range, postmaster, bounty bot, clan message board etc and then possiably each clan member gets a room on the ship or an area they can decorate with shades emblms weapons and armour or other items. The way clans would get a ketch would be through a one time raid which requires 12 (or more) clan members. It would be like this "...A damaged Fallen Ketch has been spotted in orbit. Assemble your clan and take this ship to aid your efforts against the darkness..." The raid would consist of lots of mini boss battles to clear out the ship, wave defence parts whilst repairing parts if the ship or opening some doors ect and a couple of boss battles like taking the bridge from the fallen and a high servitor like the one from PoE. Once you have taken the ship it flys to the tower where as a clan you have to collectively pay a large amount of glimmer, this would take a couple of days at min, to the shipwright to fix your ship. Your clan then has the ship. After this your clan leader can set improvements for your clan to 'build' like the things mentioned above or other rooms like a sparrow hanger or a private clan clash area. These improvements would require members to donate glimmer or other materials, possiably you have to kill specific enemy's to gain these parts like in patrol. This would also allow bungie to continually add new areas to get.
