If you're one of those, "I'm requiring Gjallerhorn now," guys, just stop.
Lemme make this real simple: Bungie nerfs the Gjallerhorn because Raid groups were too stubborn about who can and can't join their games, basically who has Gjallerhorn and who doesn't.
The scummy part of this community goes, "Durr hurr, I'm gonna require Gjallerhorn even more now to teach Bungie a lesson!"
Bungie says, "It looks like Gjallerhorn is [i]still[/i] the go-to weapon for Raid groups, so we're gonna nerf it some more."

But by all means, if you're so afraid to do endgame content without Gjallerhorn, be my guest, and get your precious rocket launcher nerfed into the ground.

I agree with some people bungie nerfed it because it just destroyed all the end game content and made it easier. But what I don't understand why they just couldn't make things harder in general. Like oryx for example in his fight have a cutscenes where he says your precious rockets won't work against me (cause we destroyed his son with them). N make rockets do half damage against taken majors and ultra. Anything could've fixed this problem for the next dlc. But the easy road was to nerf city. We shouldn't be splitting the community like this. We should all be requiring bungie to step up

Yeah true but I feel the cycle of whiners will never end. There is still cool people here. And I got buddies that arent dicks like that. And I dont have the ghorn but if I did I would be like... who cares im trying out and leveling a different exotic anyways. Except for bosses mabye. But yeah the nerfing wont end till the whining does.. endless loop?

We're not going to be using it, though. Gjallarhorn will be your entry key to our fireteams, we're not actually going to use them as they suck now. It's like showing your invitation or ID to get into a place.

Gjallarhorn should stay the same but this community needs to be "oh cool you have gjallarhorn" instead of "OMFG scruub you don't have a geee horn GTFO" and they need to stop saying they "earned it" they got lucky where other people aren't
