Anyone else think Mr. Fruit is a moron?
When bungie interviewed him, he said that if he could change 1 thing, it would be to fix shotguns specifically.
Well instead of just shotguns, they screwed over all special weapons, making them useless unless they regen ammo or by camping by the ammo spawn locations.
This by itself is quite annoying. However, it gets worse.
Mr. Fruit, having gotten what he wanted, immediately turns around and starts freaking out about the 4th horseman.
Surely I can't be the only one thinking he is a jackass.
Edit: I never said he was the reason they changed it.

Secondary weapons still get plenty of play in Crucible. And honestly, they should be "secondary" weapons, being that you use them as an alternate to your "primary" weapon.

You apperently do not follow Mr.Fruit. He did a video name the 4th Horseshit before the change and said the gun was basicly trash. In the interview he said their needed to be a change in people running shotguns AS PRIMARIES instead of secondaries. A problem that was apperently already being worked on as Bungie had it ready to roll out on the next update. [spoiler]you cannot do a coding change like that overnight.[/spoiler] He then reviewed the 4th horseman again after the stat change. The video aptly named the 4th Holyshit. He still runs with Hawk moon as his primary exotic and has a blatant dislike for shotguns. The hate for the shotty is a lot less now than it used to be as the ammo spawn rate made the most common crucible shotguns dependent on ammo drops.

Shotguns and other specials were a problem. Did you think it was okay to have unlimited sniper ammo just to empty out your clip for a final round or what about the people who run around with specials as primary guns?

Granted I have to run and get more ammo occasionally but its not worth complaining about. Half the time I'll get killed and will spawn somewhere close to ammo anyway.

The thing is, everyone has been asking for a shotgun fix since [i]before[/i] he was interviewed. If you honestly believe that Mr. Fruit single-handedly caused every special weapon to become less abundant in the Crucible, then there's nothing we can do for you. And no, I don't watch Mr. Fruit. Saw one video of his and thought he was just as unfunny as DSP.
