I just noticed Destiny is 76 on metacritic....
How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this....
even the user rating is 6/10...

How much would YOU rate Destiny??
To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at?
but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

I rate it 7/10. It captivated me, for a while. I think it had a lot to do with lack of other playable content that kept ME playing destiny. With borderlands here, I don't see myself putting nearly as mug time into this game. More than likely this game will fall by the wayside for me.

Personally, I'd give it a 9/10. I know it has issues but I think they are doing a good job at tackling them. Also I am a lucky bastard so it hasn't been grindy at all for me, I just hop on and enjoy shooting stuff. I think the rating is so low because there was a ton of hype and a way bigger market than halo. Most the people still enjoying this game were excited for it before the hype and would have bought it even if it wasn't advertised at all before launch. But some 7 million people jumped on that hype train (estimated based off the 10 million sold vs the roughly 3 million that still play) and are unsure how to take destiny - "should we compare it to other rpg's or other shooters? Maybe we should compare it to MMO's or maybe it's just a borderlands rip off with less content..." - everyone seems to have mixed feelings about destiny but as far as what it actually is (a shared world shooter) I think they did a great job. I mean, they must have done something right if roughly 3 million people are still logging on each week some 6 months after launch.

Sound 8/10 Graphics 7.5/10 Story, campaign 4.5/10 Group activity 7.5/10 Things to do after lvl 32 and got all the gun I wanted 0 I'm just waiting for HoW cuz I already paid for it but after I beat that raid I may move on.

It's understandable why people give it a "low score". They complain about Destiny not having a Story. I don't agree. I believe Bungie will bring the whole story with the rest of DLCs and expansions. That's why I won't say the game lacks story. And this is not a problem to me. But assuming this won't happen, then yes, I will feel really dissapointed and it will deserve the scores media has given to it. I love Matchmaking, but I want more and different maps. The game has potential.

I agree that it's the hottest 6/10 game of the year. I might Hate Destiny, but i'm addicted to it and i'll see it through to the very end.

7 or 8. it's alright but it's nothing to get super crazy about. maybe later on in the future it will be a lot better but right now it's not amazing. They just need to fix things and add more content.

6/10 gameplay is fun and has some potential with raids but it was kind of a let down. Still a good game and best 6/10 game I've ever played.

It's quite sad, call of duty is nearly the same thing every year however, all cod games have a higher rating than destiny haha

I would rate it a 7/10. I've been a player since day one. Even if the game is repetitive or whatever, I still enjoy it. The lack of fresh content is why I rate it what I rated it. The friends and community is also why it isn't anything lower.
