I just noticed Destiny is 76 on metacritic....
How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this....
even the user rating is 6/10...

How much would YOU rate Destiny??
To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at?
but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

Metacritic is not what you wanna look at with a game like this. The critics don't have enough time to evaluate it for what it should be. You have to get involved to appreciate it. Also note that Destiny just won game of the year for BAFTA which is voted for by fans.

I have brand new games just sitting in plastic never opened because of destiny. 9/10 easily. Some of my friends leave destiny to play the latest games but end up coming right back lol. It's hilarious. The game you love to hate!

Yeah, hate it when a game is a 9/10 but everyone expects it to be a 15/10 so you rate it a 6/10. It's like when a company makes billions of dollars but analysts said it should have made more billions so now the company is worth less...some turd with a pen and a calculator wasn't satisfied!!! Overreaction!!!!!

I still think MSO (Mass Effect Online) is going to be better... It will have a story line and more places to visit.

I'd say its accurate. Can't hold a flame to fallout 3 / elder scrolls or mass effect series. Ass for mmo's, other mmos have way more content to explore. No one should be able to obtain "all the top tier weapons". Still fun, it's like coop halo light with some persistence to your effort. I think the ratings would go up if rewards were tied to effort, so it felt like earning vs gambling. ie: unlock all the hand unlocks, then you can pick from 1 of 3 hand cannon exotics... For a pay once+ the off DLC it's good fun compared to free to play, pay to win games which take you to the cleaners!

Yeah I'd say about 8/10 even though I love it. Lack of story and overall content at the moment are the major things letting it down. Apart from that it's pretty good.

2 Repliesdestiny is nothing but a lie and hype. its not a complete game. there is little pve and pvp is very bad. we do not get to even have a reasonable amount of reserve ammo. simple and obvious stuff is missing from destiny. and whats even more disappointing is things like sound options are missing since day 1. now bungie " says " they are finally putting sound options in game and they act like they are doing us a favor. lol are you kidding me. id say with my 25 years of gaming under my belt that destiny is one of the worst games i have ever played. sad for me because i had never been so excited for a game, and what a fool i was to get on that hype train. i will never trust bungie again after the massive lie called Destiny.

13 RepliesAt least a 9. Look how many of you tools and -blam!-tards have played 500, 700, 1000 -blam!-ing hours on this game. That is half a -blam!-ing year of WORK (based on a 2000 hour work year). Any game that takes up that much of your time is a 10. If it's not, then you are seriously -blam!-ed up! That is all! It's a 10 for me!

Solid 4/10 no story man the multi is good but it needs story to stay good

7/10. The gameplay mechanics and graphics are top notch, i don't do much PvP if i can help it, the raids are better now that I have a clan, but the story is so far gone. I know not all gamers are into super strong story-lines but given we're talking about Bungie we were thinking at least something Halo-sized when it comes to story.
