Buff AR's to Former Glory
The Crucible is overrun with Pulse Rifles, Handcannons, and Shotguns. The majority of AR's are trash, up to the point where they don't even contend with the top five weapons in Crucible. We should see Bungie buff the impact & stability of all AR base stats by 2 - 3%. Range can stay low where it's at. What are your thoughts?
Edit: the current issue is when I engage in an advantageous one-on-one gunfight, built for me to win and lose simply because my weapon is underwhelming. This lets us know that these weapons are terribly imbalanced. Granted I'm not the strongest of players but I understand tact & game flow.

Edited by Mighty Albatross: 3/25/2015 11:59:23 PMI recently went into crucible using a Galahad-E auto (low rof and higher impact than most autos) it was ok. Just ok. I was still being murdered way often than I should. High rof autos have been made into water guns.

Either pulse rifles needed a buff or assault rifles needed a nerf. Doing both just switched the problem. Undo either one and all will be well.

They needed the ARs because they were OP in PvP, that's why they needed them. They're not godlike anymore, not the end of the world

10% impact buff with a 5% range nerf would make them balanced

3 RepliesI switched to AR's for a more aggressive play style, now im bored sat back with a hand canon. I prefer snipers over shotguns, and shot gunning relies to much on lag and connection and I haven't got the patience for that. Hope Ar's do get a buff so im not restricted to the same weapons every game

2 RepliesAbsolutely yes! Put them back the way they were and maybe even make guns like Silmar's Wrath, Atheon's Epilogue, etc., do better in PVE. My least favorite guns to use, pulse rifles & shotguns are now the most deadly.
