Hired by Del Fino Corporation the Exalin team is hired to clear planet Thorisis Headquarters of a specimen that escaped Exalin intact and is multiplying on this planet. Populated by 3 trillion people, the situation is dire as the entire HQ is overrun. Currently curbed within the HQ, the team must exterminate the creatures before they spread out of control.

We need to locate all of the "dark zones" (zones where our technology begins to malfunction), on the planet. These zones must be scouted until we locate the source of the problem. My hypothesis is that "The Mother" causes this. We need to see where the source is coming from, whether it be a rift, cave, or nectar pool. Once all of these are found we must block all but one, and place a machine that produces a poisonous gas I have manufactured within the entrance. We will use these to "smoke" The Mother out of her home and put her at a disadvantage. All troops involved in this will then meet at the only open entrance to ambush her when she is vulnerable. If you wish to help me with or change a part of this plan/need more info on this plan, speak to me." -Murph, Biologist/Defensive Tactician Vex's Jrs are currently scouting dark zones.

39 RepliesGood enough, I packed in a rune back at base camp and make a quick call to one of the scientists to retrieve it for me. Once in my hands I begin slicing into the rune with a small knife. The indentations are spot on, not a mistake is made and even from far away as I speak it into being and the rune grows green and begins to draw a specific evil energy back into it.

27 RepliesSlowly sitting up I am wracked with pain, but sane enough to know what to do. Reaching instead my satchel I pull out the rune that is controlling Vex and begin to speak into it in the language and custom the rune was cast in. The rune grows warm in my hands. I understand now and hope.
