For those who don't believe in evolution...
It really isn't a debate, evolution is a fact. Its not subject to belief or disbelief, its reality. A scientific theory is a proven hypothesis. Evolution is a theory, just like Gravity, and Cells are "just a theory". Micro and Macro evolution are fake concepts invented by creationists in order to debunk it. Clearly, that did not work. Evolution has been directly observed in animals with short lifespans like fruit flies. If you are going to reject direct, peer reviewed observation, yet trust in the bible, or the Qur'an or any holy book. You are creating a double standard. The burden of proof is on us, and it has been met time and time again.

Edit: I'm gonna rewrite this post as I don't like the message it is portraying and some of the feedback it has received. I just don't personally like how it was wriited and the circumstances it was written in check back in a couple hours for the new one.

1 ReplyIt's not scientifically proven as the definite way life came to be, but it's pretty much considered a fact. The debate is more about how everything started in evolution. There's the possibility that ammeno acid's randomly clumped together until one started copying itself, but the link between bacteria and jellyfish is unknown as well. So, there's still plenty to learn.

6 RepliesWhat about the huge gaps in the fossil record? There are an extremely small amount of transitional forms to be found in the fossil record (i.e. A fossil of a horse transitioning into a giraffe) and even those few forms are highly debatable, such as the [i]Archaeopteryx[/i]. Also the fact that a horse in more biologically similar in its DNA to a bacterium (approx. 36%) while a cell of yeast is only 31% similar to a bacterium doesn't make any sense. Also, research the Cambrian Exposion and what Richard Dawkins says about it. My case, that the currently accepted form of macroevolution is stupid and still in hypothesis stage.

37 RepliesHahahahaha!!! Micro-evolution (aka Adaptions): small inter-species changes, usually reversible. Macro-evolution (aka Evolution): the change from one species to another. One is proven true, and the other is bogus. I'll give you a hint; Darwin observed one on the Galapagos Isles and made up the other. How can something be fact if there is no solid, non-disputable evidence supporting it? But I guess it does not matter. As long as you believe the lie and keep spreading it, maybe one day people will believe it to be true without evidence.

10 RepliesWell even Darwin had his doubts about his theory. there are fossil records that Darwin could not explain. To completely believe this theory is just as much of a leap of faith as not believing at all.

There is no absolute fact from where we came from we all have are beliefs and saying evolution is fact is actually a lie as it may be taught as fact in public schools it is just a theory that a lot of people seem to believe.
