How do you know someones a noob
For me just opinions
Under 2300 grimoire
Hezens vengance users
Fusion rifles
My team in crucible because they always get only 1000 points in a match
Blue guns
People without atleast 10 exotics
Havent done hard crota
Cant run sword
Cant run relic
Suck it noobs
Git gud scrub
Scrubs
3 of same class
Grab heavy ammo without waiting in pvp

1 ReplyDestiny is such a new game. Even if you have all the exotics and achievements you can still be a noob when it comes to gaming. If you don't know who sephiroth is, if you haven't wiped on the lich king for 7 hours on 25 man hero Icc until u got it right, if you can't quote the entire game of halo combat evolved as it happens, if you don't use odd job in multiplayer because he's the smallest target in golden eye, if you don't know know the mana and health regen codes on morrowind, if you don't have the battlemaster title, if you don't know where the quote "it's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum... But I'm all out of gum.." Comes from, if you don't know what the bxr combo is, if you don't know all of Lu kangs special moves by heart, and if you have never collected all the chaos emeralds, you're probably a noob. If you didn't understand half of those references then you're the noob.

1 ReplyPeople who talk up how good they are or how many times they've done something. I can do sword but I'll never claim I can do it every time or that I'm the best at it. I lay out my skill level in humble terms for others to see. Noobs feel like they have to talk themselves up to be recognized as good. I would rather have a guy that is honest about his skill level, takes responsibility for a wipe and tells us that it is his first run on Crota hard but he's willing to learn and can competently follow a plan.

All of this noob smashing is a bit stupid. We all started off on this game at the same place, just because some haven't played it as much as others doesn't make then crap. Plus it's fun to kill many many noobs on crucible giving me lovely scores. So thank you noobs, keep playing, you will get better.

2 Replies3 of the same character doesn't mean anything. I have a friend that has 3 titans and have been playing VOG from the start, then crota, crucible, iron banner and must say from my experience that he's is really good at everything. He is good with the relic. He is good with the sword. He has almost the best score or most skill in pvp/iron banner. ( unless it's damn laggy ) Srsly, i don't know why ppl are so butthurt about those who have 3 of the same characters. [b]Before you judge someone, walk in their shoes, get to know them[/b]

We let him stay, 3 wipes, then one tried to convince him to shoot the crystal point blank with a rocket, but he ended up catching on. Instead we made him stay in the crystal room on thrall duty. He won't stop talking. 2 of us mute him after he kept talking about how many times he's done normal. The rest of us kill Crota in the next run, kid gets Cryptographic AND Glowhoo... yes "I've ran it a thousand times"... sure, kid... The other guy was cool, up front said he never done hard. Asked the right questions, followed the plan perfectly.
