So whats the whole point of this perk?
To highlight 1 target for a set amount of time....
That's it?
Why not make the marked target take more damage from the fireteam?
Would be more creative.
I don't see the point of its current state.

For invisible vandals -_-

1 ReplyIt is quite useless at this point. If it allowed you view the target through walls it wouldn't be bad...but it's very lacking.
-
2 Repliesmark the guy in pvp he/she hides...snipe with armor penetrating sniper XD
-
7 RepliesBecause some people play what is commonly referred to as "PvP" where marking a target can be beneficial to the team.
-
Using it to mark the sword bearer on crota is so useful so the team doesn't loose sight of him if you don't like the perk or it doesn't fit your needs use the useless reload perk
-
2 RepliesMaybe if the marked could be seen through walls and more visible instead of a light green mist
-
Try pairing it with an armor piecing sniper in pvp...
-
The marking could be improved.

2 RepliesEdited by Hoots711: 2/23/2015 5:34:03 PMIt would be cool if if was like a laser mark for incoming heavy... Would fit perfect with swordbearer or crota to mark with the fang and then have any rockets fired within 5 second or so track to the target... but again... this probably didnt come up in 7 years and $500 mil worth of development.

6 RepliesEver have trouble finding ir yut well mark her with the fang and unload on her oh where the hell is omnigul she's moving around too much well tag her we'll focus fire on her after we find her.
-
Say you are fighting Omnigul. But she spawns all those wizards around her, where is she and which one is she? Never fear, just mark her with the fang, problem solved. It has it's ups and downs.

4 RepliesI was thinking when HOW drops, there's gonna be mad invisible vandals. This may actually be pretty sick
-
I have found the marking perk on thorn much better.
and it's not even a marking perk
-
Probably for finding invisible enemies in some dark part of the HoW raid.
-
So glad someone asked this, I was wondering the same thing.
-
5 RepliesIt will be useful for the house of wolves It can mark stealth vandals
-
3 Repliesit is a useless perk. I use it to highlight the swordbearer when running my hunter through crota to help the ledge guys see him better. but... I only do that for shits and giggles though.
-
3 RepliesFor pvp only. It's actually very useful if you have a team that takes cover a lot. It's almost laughable when someone hides behind cover and you just pull that armor-piercing rifle and finish them off
-
10 RepliesLocating Swordbearer and Stealth Vandaks in the upcoming raid.
-
It's a shame really, it feels like such a filler weapon. More Fireteam damage would be handy, turn it into a great support weapon.
-
It's good for marking swordbearer and in pvp
-
Would be better if it was visible through items atleast. But yeah more fireteam dmg would be good
-
It'll probably come in to use when the next raid drops. All of this stealth vandals etc. Shoot them, can see them when they turn back invisible etc
