Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

New Monarchy has been very generous to me. I have every gun from them, a shader, and an emblem. The sniper rifle is nice. For some reason, I always get the rocket launcher with void.

Grim Citizen was my first love, but V8 is almost as good.

I was a huge Shadow Price fan until I got my first V8 during a Tiger Strike back in October/November. It had the identical perks that you mentioned (Field Scout and 3rd Eye). I am big on auto rifles so it quickly became my go-to gun. Unfortunately I only have the 1.0 version. I am still hoping to someday get the upgraded 331 version with Field Scout and 3rd Eye.

I got it day one of the dlc drop when I ranked up new monarchy. It's got range, impact, stability, and mine has field scout (like 42 rounds per clip). I like it more than any of the new raid guns.

I leveled NM from 0 to 3 during Iron Banner just to get this gun. I had to buy the vendor version, which hits super hard but has too small of a magazine for my tastes. I still use it a lot but I'm still leveling NM in the hopes that I get a new one with field scout.

1 ReplyThe vanquisher is my go-to gun if all goes wrong. Its better than the suros from shat i experience RED HAND IX!!!! <--- now this is a hancannon! My best games in pvp & reliability are with this monster @_@ i have hipfire accuracy which helps a ton while evading or moving, but its a headshot monster. I prefer it over the hawkmoon, yes i said it

Hoping i get it in a gift package for ranking up tho! I'm not rank 1 yet so i've got a ways to go I'm not a fan of ARs in pve but pvp it would be nice to have something other than my old shadow price.

I got it in rank 3 package with reactive reload, high caliber/fitted stock, and crowd control. I liked it for a little but I got rng blessed for like the last 4 or 5 weeks straight so I haven't used it in a while

Love mine. I have two... One purchased one received from a rep package. I mainly use the one with stability and bottom half mag/extra damage. Rocks in Crucible. After Shadow Price from back in the day... Nothing beats it. I keep my old SP and Grim Citizen in my vault as mementos...

1 ReplyAll about the new monarchy! Best shotgun, fusion rifle, hand cannon, scout rifle and auto rifle of all the factions. The store bought vanquisher owns in pvp, sucks in pve. 8 head shots kills plus glass half full on a 22 mag is nice!

Mine was from last weeks Nightfall has counterbalance, field scout and crowd control I love it. I think my titan is rocking it at the moment.

4 RepliesI have two. One maxed out with field scout. The 42 shots are awesome and you really dont need extra stability with this gun. The second one i just got yesterday in nightfall with extra stability but i think i wont use it because i allready have a better one maxed out

New Monarchy is my least favorite faction, they do have the best gear though. One of my first legendaries, never stopped using it. Have been upgrading/replacing it though. Have yet to find one with the field scout.
