Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

I got counter balance, fitted stock and crowd control. Great auto-rifle but imo it still does nit come close to handcannons and even some scout rifles.

1 ReplyThe Vanquisher is my favorite auto rifle for Crucible. I have two of them, one that I purchased from the vendor before the new dlc and one that I received for ranking up my New Monarchy after CE dlc. The impact and accuracy is amazing plus the small clip is made up for with the second half of the mag doing bonus damage as long as your aim is true this gun will provide you lots of kills.

I began the NM grind for the V8, then from the crucible I got a legendary engram wich turned into a Shadow Price (yes you can still get the old gear from crucible engrams and chests) with GHF, F.Scout, and Spray & Play. Since I only use AR's in crucible it saved me another rep grind.

Once maxed the vendor version is pretty good. I think it'll stay decent even with the AR nerfs.

I have field scout, glass half full and I believe reactive reload. Use it more than any auto rifle aside from abyss defiant

I actually just got that this week from the nightfall haha. I haven't used it yet but it looks pretty good, was thinking about buying it but now I dont havre to. I'm not sure if I'll be using it in Crucible because I'm in to much love with my Hardlight, I love that baby, but I'll most certainly try it out once I fully level it.

I somehow have 3 of these guns and I put one one each character, but the best one I have is the one I roll with in pvp, it has counter balance, field scout, and grenadier.

Perfect balance, counter balance, and crowd control. It shoots a straight line. Haven't found anything in PVP that outshoots it yet. It's kinda rekindled a little liking for PVP, too.

I have a Vanquisher with the perk that lets me see my map when scoped in, plus field scout so I get 42 bullets. I love it!

Highest impact of any vendor sold auto rifle. With the 22 round magazine and Glass Half Full, you are dealing more high damage for an auto rifle. It isn't Suros Regime, but you can purchase it, it can be a guarantee.

I can't remember the perk roll on it tho for I have Suros, Abyss Defiant and other weapons I prefer to use more. It looks good tho but it'll probably end up being scrapped.

New Monarchy has been very generous to me. I have every gun from them, a shader, and an emblem. The sniper rifle is nice. For some reason, I always get the rocket launcher with void.
