Help recovering an old account.

Hey, you may not be able to tell from this profile, but I'm a bungie.net veteran. A couple years ago, it wouldn't allow me to access my original bungie.net account. For some reason, I can't remember why, I gave up and just made a new one. I can now access my original account. It says it is a "5 year" account, but doesn't show any stats or game history on halo 3 and reach. My newer account is a "2 year" account, but shows all of my game history for halo 3 and reach. Is there anyway I can get all of my data back on my original account? Also, is there any way I can change the email of my original account to that of my newer account? Thanks for any help.

  • I'm bumping this because I am very much in the same boat. I'd like to take my 6yr old account and use it (don't even care about the old Halo stats, just want destiny on it) especially now with the ability to change the userID name. Anyone have any help? No "forgot password" or "account recovery" options anywhere. :(

  • If you unlink your gamertag from the 2 year profile, and link it to your five year profile, it should switch your game histroy links to that page.

Alright, just to review, your sure the Microsoft unlinked properly? Then when you tried to link your Microsoft account, it told you it was still linked somewhere?

You may be able to link your currect gamertag/Microsoft account to your old account. The following thread outlines those steps.
