at last, the sounds of the rats

Rats, Rats, Rats, as I mumbled to myself. Grim Was I, when I killed it. It has eyes like mine, fingers like mine, a soul... .. like mine. I cleaned the scissors, which were now useless as I threw the last pieces of it into the bin, the pound of the sound bounces away the soulless carcass, as it too fell into the pit. I stormed and wondered, my chest filled with bats, that clung onto me like a caves rusty surface. Shoes, Shoes, ... It wore shoes on. A knocking came at the door, I my swung right open glaring towards the door in the distance, the gleam of sunlight staring through my old wooden windows, dust hung in the air. Another Knock 'dung, dung'. The Sound hurt my ears, as no one ever visited me here, not now, not ever. Was this rat, something of value? someones Pet maybe? 'no.. no..' I groaned. I stepped up away from the bin, and slowly walked towards my door, with wasn't that far away to where I was sitting down, investigating the mess I had just endured. My slow unsettled figure, grew quicker at a pace as my arm was stretched out with my hand leading my body towards the doorknob. I opened the door, only to find my scissors, on the floor.. opened.. blood fresh on the blade, I stood there.. glaring at them.. goosebumps fell into my body.. I gasped for air.. I slowly looked up to find a figure standing there. 'You dropped something.'

  • One morning I arose from my floor. I do not remember sleeping on the floor, however when I found myself slowly getting up I saw my chair had fallen down, just where my small table was set-up. I stood up, breathed in and out, and noticed a bottle of rum on the table, upside down.. empty. 'Arh, I said.. Must have had a few to many last night, and collapsed in my chair, which must explain why I was on the...' Before I could finish my sentence a rattling sound sprang out within my ears. I turned behind me with a quick spin, so fast that my neck twirled all around to witness my surroundings. 'Clung, Clung,'.. 'Where was this noise coming from!', I whispered under my breathe. I stood still, for this noise grew louder, my eyes didn't move from the wall it was staring at, my body froze with awe. I felt spaced-out, like the blood was rushing all through my body. I Clenched my fist, waiting.. and waiting.. And with a Loud Yell, I threw my Fist into the wall, The Rats Hour had Come!' ... 'SMASH, CLUNG, BANNG'. My fists bounding my walls, the fists were covered in fur, and wool, with blood squirting out from the cracks of the walls floorboards, I couldn't see where all this material was coming from, it was like as if when the walls were torn apart, they were alive!.... Out of the darkness a deep, loud , garnish tone came from within the broken walls scattered across my floor. 'It's time I returned the favor!' it called out, the voice echoing throughout my whole living room area, sweat heating across my head, my tears became cold full of cement.. With out even thinking, I took my shoes off.. only to find that they were.. all covered in rat tails.
