That would perfectly describe what this event actually is: An event for people that hate themselves and enjoy the masochistic "Get Effed by Bungie"-lifestyle! Or how else would you describe this:
* Having to play the most hated and time-consuming activities - who doesn't like hunting for enemies hiding somewhere in the Salt Mines?
* Making rewards based on a score that is tied to power level - perfect for people that didn't have enough pain of grinding to 550 in the solo ops mines!
* Locking rewards behind a score that requires people to put on the most masochistic negative modifiers - great for people that love suffering!
I decided a stupid helmet I wouldn't put on anyway and an -blam!--ugly emblem isn't worth busting my -blam!- off and wasting my time. But pretty sure some people love to bend over for this and will defend this kind of garbage - good luck in your bubble if you do!

Edited by xbroggiex: 11/13/2025 11:07:46 PMIts honestly kind of strange event to be fair. I don't mind doing the super difficult all negative modifiers on for one run to confirm a score once. Which is how the event works currently, but also the fact it works like a traditional event wanting you to farm the activities for the event weapons/holofoils. Like placing a high score has no bearing on your loot outside of that daily shipment which is honestly just them giving you a chore to pick up each day. The daily shipment should just be like an engram or something you could build up each day on Devrim and claim whenever during the event. All I would want changed is all portal activities to drop the event engrams and progress the event pass ranks.
