If im bored with this game, its bad
I am average. I used to be able to jump on and do stuff. Now, I just can't find a way to log on.
If i wanna just jump on gambit, I get nothing. There aren't any activities to do without planning ,modifying and trying to find someone to help.
Why is there only a SUPER HARD ONSLAUGHT?
WHY CANT I JUST DO a simple nite fall? Or Prisin, Or so many little activities there used to be
I have not played another game in 8 years. Now,I'm looking around. Too bad I dropped $100 bucks in this and not a lot to do for an average player. I am over 400, and would love to fix up another set of armpur,but it costs So much.
It's so lonely. Why doesn't fireteams, matchmake?

Why do some exotics have the new weapon icon, but not the rest, even though I got all of them long ago? Why force players to use only new weapons? What's wrong with the old ones? Did the old weapons rust or break and stop working? Besides, there are very few new weapons in the game. And why this stupid inventory lock in all Master мissions? What nonsense, what a bore, why did they make this whole host of negative modifiers the norm in casual missions? I don't know about you guys, but I'll level up the season pass to 110 and then move on to another game (until the new expansion comes out). I'd rather continue playing Destiny 1 than this trash with the Portal system.

It is so blatantly disrespectful and shameless that they put out this awful product and have the audacity to not only not fix their mistakes but prioritise micro-transactions and in-game aesthetics over anything that has to do with gameplay. I’m just in the whisper mission. Grandmaster. Took like half a year to find a team. We were out of revives after two minutes. I’ve been dead for five, one guy left, the other one is trying to kill a champion. It is such a god-awful experience. I’m killing time ranting about the game so I don’t have to look at my orb. WHO MAKES AN ACTIVITY WITH A JUMPING PUZZLE A GM WITH LIMITED REVIVES?!?!?! Also, couple of other things: Why do I get no revives when I kill a champion? WtF kind of new mechanic is that!?! Who, Bungie, is the absolute moronic useless imbecile who keeps coming up with these changes that have literally ZERO positive effects and do nothing but alienate the VERY FEW loyal players who are left!? Why does my LL have no function at all? I swear there is absolutely no incentive to do anything here. All my weapons are worthless. So is my armour. I’m barely scratching level 400, don’t have anything that’s tier 5, at this rate I’ll never get it either. I have lost all hope for this game. It used to be amazing. Now it’s a straight up nightmare.

It always amazes me how there is soooo much valid complaints to have with the game yet you kid always resort to making up lies instead. There is an easy mode onslaught, there are easy nightfalls and simple “prison” whatever that’s supposed to mean. The portal has a lot of negatives but literally the one thing it fixes is the issue you’re crying about.

They have hacked the heart out of the game, removed anything that was fun and left nothing but a piling heap. Gone are the days you jumped in did bounties, nightfalls, strikes and vendor weekly tasks. There is nothing but ops and even then trying to get into one is not happening. If they had any brains during the changes they would have just added a switch to turn things back on, I bet they haven't but we can dream. Maybe they can start to fix the game before Renegades before the game is truly dead.

I know the feeling,i got 16k hours in this game,and now im struggling to try and play,its so damn boring. For the game to be good again they need to remove the portal and bring back what was fun, everything outside the portal is a waste of time to play becus its not rewarding. I have a little hope the release of marathon will bring back devs to Destiny 2. i think the pressure of getting marathon released is the reason why Destiny 2 is in such a bad state it is now.

7 RepliesYeah, I just passed 400LL and everything is a drag. I finished my portal rank and got my gun and armor from zavala, there is no point in running stuff for the outside chance of a +1/+2 in a slot. Haven't played this weekend and won't until after Tue reset, just to repeat the same weekly chores. 😴

Edited by Jammers: 10/6/2025 10:00:26 AMbungie put to much in marathon , and it's just another extraction shooter that has little sustainability . people will play it and forget it. destiny had it all, but now has little investment . who knows why bungie would not invest heavily in destiny there cash cow. bad choices poor leadership you name it. but they went down a rabbit hole ,with little options then try to break even on marathon . so we're stuck with old content as they milk the community as long as they can.

8 RepliesI'm hoping to build a community made community event called "Repopulate D1 Day." Next Friday, Oct 10, let's all log into the original tower and give guardians some fire teams. Let's return to a world where landing in the Ishtar Sink or Dreadnought puts you next to other Guardians running public events and fighting the taken. Let's jump in and farm strike specific loot out battle the Court of Oryx and Archons Forge. Sure the movement won't be as good and you can't mantle, but the community can make up for that. . The discord server "the last city" still has a D1 LFG for anyone interested.

Agree. Havent played in a bit and if i come back the only reason will be that i paid for renegades. If not for that nothing in this game draws me to it like it used to. Sad to see D2 falling.

I've basically played destiny only for 11 years - previously I only played cod. Today I played the black ops 7 beta & I want to play again 2moro - it's fun, I'm just not sure I can play it every day going forward but I sure as -blam!- can't play destiny every day anymore.

Currently you can choose the difficulty and set the delta. Why can't you do a simple nightfall? I don't know, for all other players they just open up the director go to vanguard and select nightfall. Why can't you?
