Your servers have to be the trashiest servers in gaming
Every day it seems like people are getting error codes left and right. It's insane how bad you are at managing your -blam!-. I bet your company is a laughing stock amongst actual triple A gaming companies. What a joke.

The money you spent all these years on D2 are funding dedicated servers for Marathan tho. Just go buy their new game. Corps don’t care about people. They care about profits.

Honestly. Not even Activision servers are this bad. And theyve been questionable at best for decades.

Without a doubt the quality of the game and the servers have seriously gone down recently. Unfortunately I think they are not the only company doing this. I work for a company completely different sector but they are seriously going on the cheap on maintenance and operations of their back end servers trying to save money. All I hear about these days is saving money or reducing headcount. Most companies in any sector today is so concerned about making their shareholders happy that they have decided to make their customers 2nd class citizens as far as service and quality. Too many companies are now just focusing on cost savings and shareholder ROI. If you go to far that direction customers will leave. You need happy customers just as much as happy shareholders.

9 RepliesI would say that in 2023 they are definitely the worst. Brought into focus by the smooth launch of Diablo 4 by that much maligned and vilified dev ActiBlizz. They may yet screw over there player base but at least you can play the game you have paid for with no connection issues. Marathon is apparently having dedicated servers when the Destiny player base has been asking for that since Day 1 D1. There are so many players happy to defend and justify this though so difficult to blame Bungie when the majority are happy with this seemingly. They have free rein to do what they want, how they want with no consequence at all. For my part I have at least bailed on the annual pass and have no intention of paying the new inflated price for an individual season. Too little too late so shame on me.

7 RepliesDon’t you worry, once the other Bungie IPs are out and all the corresponding departments remain jobless, we will definitely see a few heads fall at Bungie and a refocus on Destiny. I find fascinating how clueless a company like Bungie can be when it comes to understanding what their customers want after something like 25y with them. I just hope it’s not going to take them another ten years to understand what they must do to make good money.

Want to know what were terrible servers back in the days? R6 siege And even worse Vanilla for honor. Someone rage quits like a baby, well done bucko. Now 7 people have to relive that 15 minutes of smacking all over again because the match got disconnected. 30 minutes for minimum rep I know destiny is bad, but I have seen worse. The fact for honor has now better servers is kinda surprising

The peoples I personally know that have issues either have bad connection have a entire family on the connection and often aren't hard wired While I won't say the connection are perfect .... But in the last years playing this game unless the server was going down for a while I maybe gotten an error code 5 time ...

The only time ive ever had a problem was when they do background maintenance. Other than that its your fault, you prob play on a old gen console with 50$ a month internet that is worse than mcdonalds. Some of yall needa grow up blaming everything on somone.im happily playing destiny 2 right now🫶🏽

1 ReplyWe now have multiple post breaking almost 5000 up votes on Reddit to have Bungie address this and some major issues. Please help us spread the word!! Bungie does in fact read the Reddit and have made changes previously. Please upvote it really does help!
