I've been having problems with the NAT type anytime I try to join another fireteam with more than one person it will come up saying I have a 'strict' NAT type even though in the settings it will say i have an 'open' NAT, an example is when I go to the tower and it is only me or on the rare occasion I will have perhaps two other people. I've tried uninstalling the game and installing it again, hasn't worked, restarting my router, again hasn't worked and I've even done port forwarding still hasn't fixed the issue. it makes the game unplayable if your trying to do endgame content or even just strike. I've noticed that most of the people on here complaining about it are from the UK same as myself so it must be something to do with the UK servers. I'm sure of this because I tried a VPN that allowed me to connect to American servers, I was getting way more players in matchmaking and the tower pretty much back to how it was before Sunday, it was only slower because I'm obviously connecting to American servers in the UK.
But the issue needs to be fixed this can't be something on the players end because I have tried everything that bungie has said to do on this website and still hasn't worked:
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049496751-Advanced-Troubleshooting-UPnP-Port-Forwarding-and-NAT-Types
please fix this so we can actually play the game again and not leave this for weeks on end
