Tried to use my old character and went through, ranked up to Guardian Rank 3 Initiate. The game says my Learning Light quest is incomplete. After reading some threads online (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/262529333), I created a new character as "7Jakk" suggested and was able to complete the same quest and communed with the Traveler and completed all steps of the Learning Light quest with my new character. When I switched to my old character, his Learning Light quest is still incomplete. Not sure what else to do. The Learning Light quest is being tracked but the commune with the Traveler spot isn't showing up for my old character, not on the map and not in the cosmodrome on the (mostly) guard-railed cliffs between The Steppes and Mothyards where it did for the new character I created. Went back with the old character to the Forgotten Shore trying to see if I could access the Guardian Rising quest/mission but the flag is there but it is inactivated. There is nothing in the Quest Archive next door to the Postmaster and Tess Everis. Have spent hours leveling up and modding my old character's weapons and gear and now I'm stuck at Rank 3 with Learning Light not working. I would like to continue leveling up but this issue will not let me. Anyone have any other ideas? I have gone through everything I could find and tried all solutions and nothing is helping me solve this. REPRO STEPS: Step-by-step instruction list on how to reproduce this bug, try to be as succinct as possible: Came back to Destiny 2 after a year or so away. Tried to use my old character. Learning Light quest shows incomplete, unable to find the steps to finish it in the cosmodrome. Able to complete the Learning Light quest with a new character. The new character's completion is not counting toward my old character, Learning Light quest still shows as incomplete in my Ghost's tracker and the journey tab. ACTUAL RESULT: The result you're currently experiencing. (Meaning after following the steps above you'll end up with this current result) Unable to make progress and increase Guardian Rank EXPECTED RESULT: This is the result that someone would expect to happen if the bug wasn't active. Normal progression and ability to access all steps in the quest in the cosmodrome and rank up normally past Rank 3 Initiate.
