So I haven’t played Destiny in a while and I see that there’s now cross save and Bungie Names. My name is currently set to a generic default, assigned my the system. The website and Destiny 2 app both say I can change my name, but neither will save my name. The app specifically says “ You have a Bungie Name change available.” The website says my changes are saved when submitting my name, but will not actually save it, as evidenced by reloading the page and seeing the generic one assigned to me. The companion app at least gives an error, but it just says “Bungie Name Change Failed Your Bungie Name could not be updated.” I’d love to contact Bungie directly, but that doesn’t seem to be an option.
