Why am I matching 8 Asian players in a control match? Like, I'm in northern Europe.
The lag is insane, the players are not even visible most of the match and are teleporting through the walls getting literally free kills.

Because the casual PvP player who plays 3 matches a week need a safe space to bot walk around without being beat up by the big bad 1%ers. And Bungie agrees, so you get SBMM. And that's what you get. Enjoy! Same reason why I'm in Texas and I played against a 4 stack of players from Australia gtlich lagging all over the map.

You are lucky I just sit at 1/12 for crucible. It never matches me. I have quit the game and logged out and the same issue. I’m not even mad I expect it from them, they are awful at what they.

Yeah, all these -blam!- saying SBMM is great haven't played a full fireteam clan of players with kanji in their tag. The lag is ridiculous, there's just simply not enough players for SBMM and even if there was, Destiny had had latency issues since D1.

End of the season. Nothing really to do wasn't the most content exciting season we've had in a bit. This literally happens every season come the end why are you acting like this is new.
-
Low player count so your search parameters were widened, that's all
-
SBMM That’s literally why…..but the filthy casuals wanted it so now we are screwed. Shoulda stayed with cbmm…..guess people didn’t learn from the mistakes in D1…

It's because there is such a low population. This is from Steam Charts, so it's PC only but... There were 150k peak players in september with an avg of 88.5k There were 66k peak players in november with an avg of 39k. The lowest peak player count ever recorded on steam for a given month prior to this month.... was 76188 in november of 2021. Everyone is just over it because of bad decisions being made at many levels and probably Bungie moved anyone talented to their upcoming IP as this game is pretty old now.
