Imagine if you will a PvP mode that isn't just running in a triangle and then back to the center to deposit what if we took that exact same concept and did this instead. Take 2 teams of 6 players and create a new map that is about the same scale as the old destiny 1 maps with vehicles. Position the teams at set spawn points and have two teams have their own banks for motes. Each team will then have their starting taken armies, these enemies will then fight each other and the goal is to deplete enemy motes and summon a Primeval. As players collect motes and fight the opposing enemies they can bank motes and upgrade their armies. The upgrade adds blockers just like the ones we have now except they'll push for the enemy bank if they make it to the bank they'll begin rapidly taking motes. The first team to get a Primeval is a step closer to winning when a Primeval is summoned the two teams will then begin to battle the opposing team trying to kill both the Primeval and opposing guardians if the other team manages to collect motes during this then they'll spawn in their Primeval as well. Resulting in Primeval on Primeval action! The goal is for each team to push the Primeval to a bank and destroy the opposing bank and win! There's plenty of variation in this mode like different Primevals that could be summoned and battle which players could get at random. Example could be a Primeval Captain vs a Primeval Knight. Players could use strategy in how they fight team vs team and keep opposing players from slaying their Primeval while they advance their own. There are only Three ways teams can win. You slay the enemy Primeval. Your Primeval slayed the opposing Primeval. Your Primeval destroyed the opposing teams bank. This gamemode would give us more variation in battle we could see players fight in real time against their different teams. Lore wise this would depend on bungie because this could also encompass other races like scorn instead of just solely taken on taken.
