Gambit changes

INVASION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Before the prime evil is up the portal will open 3 times when reaching a certain check point (25 motes) These invasion protals can be stacked upon eachothers, with a short delay between activation. This can lead to back to back invasions and make it very frustrating for the team that gets invaded. My solution to this is. Fast or stratagies. What i mean by this is, remove stacking. If you deposit enough motes to open a portal (25) and you don't use it, when you reach the next check mark (50) then your first invasion portal will get overridden (You only have one invasion). What this will do is add some sort of strategy to the mode. Take it slow to invade more or invade less to get to the Prime evil faster. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INVADER -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- High risk high reward. As an invader you have nothing to loose by dying, and alot to gain from killing an enemy or to just do nothing. Killing an enemy will cause them to drop any motes they are carrying and will take them out of the fight for a few seconds, which can give your team either the chance to catch up or to increase their lead. Ok so what does this have to do with "High risk high reward" i hear you ask. Ok so i just listed the benefiets of invading and also stated that there is nothing to be lost by dying as an invader. Here is the thing, Invaders gets Wallhacks, increased damage and take less damage, Basically cheats. As i said if they kill us we lose the motes that we are carrying but if we kill the invader, all we get is a measly 3 motes not a generous reward for killing the biggest threat in the game. My solution. Treat the invader as a highvalue target, because that is what they are. Instead of them dropping 3 motes they will always drop 15 motes. What about when your Prime evil is up ? sure motes now is pointless so what you will now get from killing an invader is a stack of Prime evil slayer. Yes now they are treated as an envoy. This will reward your team for killing an invader and thus creating some sort of risk for people to invade and thus the High risk high reward come in. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MISC BUT STILL IMPORTANT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are some changes that doesn't need that much of an explanation. Heavy / Special ammo create, Don't spawn one in after every single wave. It is greate and all for add clearing and for the boss, but it also has the down side of making invasion more tedious because now they most likely have full heavy ammo. It makes it harder to kill them when they have stronger weapons at their disposal. Also please reduce the amount of health the Prime evil receive from a guardian kill, it is just way too much. Orange bars. Now i don't know what it is but some times you will almost only meet orange bars. It is not the biggest issue on its own but when you need certain weapons kills, then it tends to get a bit annoying. Change it so that there won't be a 90% orange bars ratio, and maybe more to a 50-50 or 30-70. (left side is orange bars). Maps. Not too much to say here, the removal of 2 maps really didn't help this game mode, especially since it only had 5 before the removal. We need more maps. This is one of our pinnacle activities and for it to only have 3 maps is not acceptable. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These are some of my ideas of changes to Gambit that i think could help it.
