Miscellaneous Ideas for Abilities and Exotics

[b][u]Stasis[/u][/b] These ideas are primarily based on the fact that stasis is lagging behind most light 3.0 subclasses. Although, these grenades won’t fix really any problems, but could add some much needed variety to gameplay. Grenades: Icicle grenade: summon a field of icicles above your opponent’s heads and have it rain down for damage (maybe apply slow, or have small stasis crystals appear alongside the damage, works similar to storm grenades) Frostbite grenade: throw a grenade that attaches to your enemies and dedonates after a small period of time or when in proximity to non attached opponent, leaving your primary target frozen and releasing a blast that slows any opponents around them. Squall grenade: summon a medium sized squall at a target location, this grenade draws in opponents into its eye trapping them while passing through to the eye your opponents are applied stacks of slow that if resisted against could leave your opponents frozen. [b][u]Void[/u][/b] Void doesn’t really need much of anything but after Arc and what’s coming with strand; I thought void could lean into it’s extra-dimensional properties for technical game play. Melee: Warlock Phase shift: you step between realities for a single moment and re-emerge a small distance away, when you emerge you emit a wave of weakening energy and a small amount of damage knocking your enemies back. Holding the melee button allows you to phase farther and see your approximate point of emergence. Holding the button expends melee energy and if it runs out this ability fails. Titan Shield Sled: Stand atop your shield and skate across terrain and ricochet dealing moderate damage to opponents. Hunter Archer’s Arch: quickly draw your Void bow and release an arrow that pulls opponents in the same direction for a short period of time and can pierce through 3 opponents inflicting a small amount of void damage and making opponents volatile. [b][u]Exotics[/u][/b] Now all of these are void related but hunters need an alternative to Morbius Quiver and potential alternative to the nerfed divinity, the Titan exotic is designed with the intent to provide a more cohesive alternative to well until warlock Solar is brought in line with at least the next weakest of the 3.0 light subclasses, the warlock exotic idea I thought was just interesting. Hunter (Helmet) Corona of Lubrae’s umbral sun: dealing damage with shadow shot increases the duration of void anchors. The longer void anchors are present the more potent the weakening effect becomes. Titan (Gauntlets) Pauldron’s of the looking glass: Bubble is now reflective against all in coming projectiles. Additionally, casting barricade while in the bubble creates a window that can be shot out of. Warlock: (Chest armor) Fetters of the event horizon: while charging Nova Warp’s void eruption all incoming projectiles are absorbed; once you stop charging or reach maximum charge, absorption stops. Once eruption is released all would have projectile damage is released as additional damage with the eruption.
