    • I have two complaints: 1:) There is absolutely ZERO campaign or story content at all what so ever for free players. Nothing. All I do is run Dares and fill up my vault each week then delete, rinse, and repeat. 2:) I also really dislike that all the matchmaking activities are super easy. Either solo players need an option to turn off matchmaking for Strikes and Nightfalls or Bungie needs to add matchmaking for higher level difficulties. Dungeons had matchmaking back in Shadowkeep. But I digress. Either let us have the option to turn matchmaking off or add it to those more challenging modes.

      • Too much micromanagement from Bungie that is tied to a broken progression system. As a result, too small of a portion of the game is end-game relevant (loot, progression). So players wind up running around in a very small, very repetitive group of activities… which leads to frustration and burnout. Especially when you factor in the Champions system that severely limits player freedom in terms of what gear to use, and the design ethic that leads to one-dimensional gameplay. (Cower behind cover so you don’t get one-shot…)

          • Ok, I’m prepared for the “Get good, Scrub” comments but there is one thing about D2 that really grips my poop; exotic catalyst quests that involve having to complete pvp activities. Now, admittedly, not all of them are too onerous, especially if they are team based but some are just ridiculous. As a rather mature player (well over 50), I don’t have the reflexes and skill of much younger players. Hell, I don’t have the pvp skills of an old player! However, I’m still trying to complete ‘The Bank Job’ quest, for the Witherhoard catalyst. So far, 9/100!! How long has the catalyst been out and I’m still on 9/100 grenade kills against guardians. I’m betting that you cannot begin to understand how frustrated I am. It’s unfair (in my opinion) as Witherhoard is obtained as part of a PvE quest. If it were a PvP questline, I could accept it. For example, I still don’t have the Vigilance Wing catalyst but accept that it’s a PvP drop. That’s fine. I will do without but making a PvE questline include a ridiculous number of grenade launcher kills against other guardians is frustrating to say the least. You get 2 rounds per life (unless you pick some up) and if you’re not a great pvp player, you end up still trying to grind it with a score of 9/100!!! Bungie really needs to sort that out.

              Too many to list. Deliberately sabotaging soloplaying and matchmaking purely in order to mandate premade fireteams and so maximize friend referrals. Much damage follows from that one alone including: - Abysmal drop rates from the highest difficulty matchmade NFs - Barring Adept & Timelost loot - Not scaling to player numbers in Dungeons, nor 1 - 3 player activities But of course the damages they've done by mishandling all three of the Warlock Light reworks is also up there.

                • -Too many exotic armor pieces: Subclass specific exotics should just be phased out and have their perk be turned into a subclass fragment. A third fragment slot exclusive for this would probably help. Their ornaments and default models can just be turned into legendary ornaments. -No incentive to play Comp: I mostly play pve, but ill step into crucible and whoop some monkey @ss if it means ill get rewarded. Comp isn't doing that. -Perks that share similar trigger conditions and/or have similar functions need to be reworked and merged: Under pressure/High impact reserves Threat detector/Surrounded Underdog/Pulse monitor Field prep/firmly planted. Etc. -Lack of proper defensive countermeasures for all classes. Hunters shouldn't be the only class with access to dodge. All classes need a basic, boots-on-the-ground dodge, regardless of subclass. -Y1 ornaments from Vanguard, Crucible and Trials of the IX should be available from their respective Playlists. (IX ornaments should go into Prophecy) -Missing Trials of the IX weapons should be put into Prophecy. -Consumables need a rework. Rainmaker, finest mattereave, etc. -Inventory stacks should cap at 9999. -Incomplete cosmetic sets from raids and dungeons: DSC is missing a ship. VOG is missing a sparrow and ghost. Vow is missing a ship. King's fall is missing a ghost. Duality is missing a ghost and sparrow, although technically the Hecuba-S sparrow from Forsaken can work. Prophecy is missing a ship. WHY. -Incompatible gun archetypes: Precision and Lightweight SRs cannot co-exist when Lightweight will always have a faster kill time. This was the exact same problem we had when Lightweight HCs still existed. -Lack of more refined target farming: I dont mind going gambit or crucible to go after a gun, but considering the amount of perks playlist weapons have AND having to contend with getting a gun you dont want, it can put people off. Something like a ghost mod or consumable that allows farming of specific weapon type. Something like "Primary weapons locator" or something along those lines. -Crafted weapons and their Adept versions: There's no reason for adepts to exist if the normal version can be crafted. I will ALWAYS take the crafted gun and make the exact roll i want over any adept. Right now, they're just trohpies. Thats all i got right now.

                    Seasons, Pay to Win weapons like ghorn, pay for levels, pay for dungeons, pay for anniversaries, pay for events. Replay old content over and over 1000s of times with minimal new content despite them wanting 100+ dollars per player a year for seasons and an expansion.

                      1. They have a severe moderation issue with RNG. Raid exotic RNG is exclusively bad. It is inexcusable that someone do the same thing 50+ times and not get the thing they’re trying to get. This reward mechanic is not a test of ability and does not respect time investment. It is only a test of patience and the lack of moderation shown has a negative effect. To a lesser extent, red border drops are incredibly inconsistent. For example, I have gotten 10 red border BxR now. Still only two Retraced Path. There needs to be bad luck protection across several things. Also, playlist/world drop RNG is awful. Playlist weapons have massive perk pools and I can only assume that some perks are heavily weighted while others have incredibly low chance. To this day, I STILL have not seen the roll I originally wanted on Royal Entry. I also haven’t seen the roll I want on Ogma, and now Strident Whistle. I literally haven’t seen Whistle drop with Incandescent even once yet. The playlist vendor focusing options needed to be here already, and the focusing costs need to be low. They are already far too high. 2. There are things that need to be account based that are not. Like seasonal story completion at the very least, if not expansion story completion as well. A lot of quest progress related stuff needs to be account based ad well as access to certain things. 3. Power level. It’s almost obsolete at this point. Just drop it altogether. It’s an arbitrary grind to have access to a few endgame things, and nothing more. I can only grind my main to be high enough for these activities. Combined, these things now mean that I only play my main now because there is just too much to keep up with and still be able to play other games, watch TV series, have a life, etc. It feels like needlessly long grind to keep up with all three characters, just for the sake of no lifers.

                        • As a solo player, there is just too much content that is inaccessible for me. I was ecstatic when Iron Lord, Flamekeeper, and Reaper titles became available. Most everything else is pretty we'll balanced, unless you are a speed player that wants it all NOW and then gets bored and complains that there isn't enough new content. Would also appreciate dialing the graphics back just a hair... For those of us without top-notch gaming rigs that struggle to meet 50fps...lol.

                            • There is still lag and connection issues within CBMM. Players seem to think it was non existence before SBMM came alongside. COMP has been SBMM since D2 launched yet nobody is having que and connection issues. Sounds suspect to me.

                              • Hard to pick just one of these. I will say that if I had a button in front of me that would let me erase all the code related to Solar Warlock 3.0 from existence, I would push it without hesitation. Knowing how much suffering and trouble this would cause for the devs, without hesitation.

                                • - PVE seasonal gameplay loop/structure is stale - Core playlists of the game (crucible, gambit, strikes) all feel neglected + little incentive for veteran players - Changes to aerial accuracy, slide nerf, quitter penalties in control of all things, special weapon/ability spam, and sbmm in an antiquated p2p non-competitive game are just the cherries on top
