Everyone is sick and tired of champions and more health being the only form of difficulty increase in this game.
Master King's Fall has been my breaking point. You're forced to run extremely specific builds, you are severely punished for not being 1600 exactly by the increased damage you take and less damage you deal, champions have metric tons of health so it drains your heavy but you need to use your heavy to clear orange bar ads as well, furthering the need for extremely specific builds.
It isn't fun, its draining. It makes the game feel even more like a chore than it already is. I enjoyed this once, now I'm tired. I was loving King's Fall and now I never want to play it again and its because Bungie put us in a box.

Never ever start a post with everyone …..nope you are talking for yourself 👍

Edited by Astrosa: 9/29/2022 2:47:54 PMThat moment your ten light under but can’t die cause lorely keeps you alive, but the champions pop up and murder you a cause 2 ghorn shots aren’t enough for master rahool
but again I was ten light under, just kinda sad that it really only champions
Clearly but he does speak the words of the majority of people who have a working brain

Nah, champs only reason I’m still playing
-

BANG!POW!ZAP!!! - old
I am beyond sick of forced loadouts... -
The main problem is master raids are unrewarding and the artifact grind is stupid to be able to even compete in said activity
-
What’s funny is for season of the undying bungie said champions were suppose to be a team focused enemy when the question is now why do we have to do solo sectors just for exotics having to face up against champs
-
I like champions in Nightfalls. They give you tons of super energy and keep things different from the same old ads again and again. But why the hell would you put them in raids? A 1600 raid poses enough of a challenge without a spam of champions.
-
I tried Totems on Master a few different times.. it almost ruined the whole raid for me.. not bothering with that -blam!- again. Warpriest/Golgoroth/Oryx were acceptable.. Totems and Daughters were complete nonsense

Edited by Him: 9/27/2022 6:30:06 AMInstead of saying "get rid of champions" why not give ideas for ways to increase difficulty another way? Because I can't think of any way to make NFs harder, people hated time limits for some reason so I guess that's out of the picture, taking them or at least some out of raids makes sense, maybe only specific types of enemies to be champions, like brand Knights in king's fall
-
Champions were fun for a while or only with a team that know what to look out for, but they become more tedious and not fun when you often run into a team that ignore their presence. Their challenge is severely artificial, they don't give any reason to be around. Let alone seeing how there are some in King's Fall is totally unnecessary. But I am liking some of the replies in that useless comment I'm seeing! And a missed opportunity to use light bearing hive as the challenge to face which is a great point to have one in.

Edited by CaptainCrush323: 9/27/2022 9:10:42 AMIt’s my biggest issue with the game. Imagine playing Halo Legendary and having to quit out because you didn’t have the right gun? I don’t care about your other weapons or classes Bungie. I will play Titan Ward of Dawn with a Scout and Glaive. If I can’t beat your content with that setup I simply won’t play it. It for me marks the moment Bungie got off course, never to return. I would prefer enemies had 5x the health than this stupid mechanic.

If only the mods would work like they should. Onstopables, that don't stop any more, and wipe entire teams is no fun

Edited by THE GRIND IS REAL: 9/27/2022 9:22:52 AMIt's the light level that's bs sucks that you have to increase light level every season to play content you played last season iv just ran 4 master lost sectors under light level and the damage you take is unreal I completed 3 runs then thought nar forget it on 4th run I have no prob with weapon loadouts , champs and shields that we have to match because that's difficulty ,but nothing is worse than taking insane amounts of damage and dealing way less damage just because of lightlevel
-
They have been around for so long now that they are part of the background 🤷🏼♂️

Edited by Kampalla: 9/26/2022 11:05:47 AMIt’s an endgame activity. It’s supposed to be a challenging. It’s supposed to show you can adapt with anything. Not everyone can do it. It’s okay. But holy the satisfaction of actually beating it is just…mmmmmm Also you can be 1591 and they aren’t swords anymore! Also having a build and a team willing to run aeos and what not make it easier. It’s a challenge. It’s end game. It’s what we are lacking in this game

Where are they going?

Where they going

hopefully the design team will do this with enemies like the Tormentors in the future.
