Guys for the love of God, if you can't make a point why it doesn't need to be buffed then don't vote, give me why not just say it that's it. I swear to God you stupid hunter mains have no brain.
Edit 2: looky looky! Take A GOOD FU**ING LOOK BUNGIE, see how many people think it's bad. The collective amount of people who say they or one needs buffs is a whopping 97 people to 20!!!!! This may be 100 people roughly but that's enough to show there is problems. And the people who voted no buff 100% didn't explain why becuz there the casual mad cuz bad spammer who has no argument and is a salty 7 year old. Bungie I'm sure in your stegosaurus plum-sized brain you thought this was fine, but the evidence is loud and clear. The poeple who say both need buffs outnumber each individually by 2-3x as much. Fix your game Bungie, I'm tired of playing a game where my subclass is left in the dust in favor of others...
Edit 3: you guys who say solar warlock is completely fine because of well are delusional, saying nova bomb, daybreak, chaos reach, stormtrance and nova warp don't need pve buffs just because. It's like saying if every hunter super was trash but they shouldn't get buffed because blade barrage is really good. See my point? Good now think about that please.

Stormcaller has a GREAT melee, very nice super and great chaining ability with amazing spam due to the ionic traces. Dawnblade is S++ tier. We have celestial fire, Icarus dash, a great super in both options well being busted and dawnblade being incredibly strong, we can shoot while gliding, we have rifts, and we have heat rises. What do y’all want? More autopilot like stasis and void? Get better and stop crying for crutches.

I don't have as much experience with Arc, but from what I've played, it seems like the only "build" for Arc is basically just variations on "get abilities back more and electrocute EVERYTHING." Solar, however, has an objective flaw. Two of its abilities are not at full power without a specific aspect and that aspect directly conflicts with another aspect. It's like the class was designed around Heat Rises. Designing all other options around one option is a blatantly terrible design choice that still boggles my mind that it got through the design team. The options should be building blocks for the player to make their own class. One piece should never be the objective "base" piece that you build off of. They should all piece together fluently and build off each other.

Arc is absolutely trash in pvp, pve not too bad but a little weak compared to the others. Dawnblade super is terrible in both modes but well, heals & fusion build is good. And all the talk about how warlocks are supposed to be a support class.. No they are not. They are warlocks Just like with the others, The clue is in the name : WARlock.

only supers yeah , dawnblade need to happly ignite after 2 hits without exotic/fragments , stormtrance need more damage landfall yeah do a massive damage but after that even the worse primary for pve in the game is better , chaos reach need to do at least 1.5m damage with geomag

Solar[spoiler]Combine Icarus Dash and Heat Rises. Make Phoenix Dive an aspect. Fix Dawn Chorus so it actually works with Solar 3.0 and have it extend super duration on kill.[/spoiler] Arc[spoiler]Amplify should alter supers in some way. Have Chaos Reach and Storm Trance blind. Grant Teammates Amplify. Landfall sends out Ionic Traces to allies. Stuff like that Amped Choas Reach should have increased duration or ramp up faster Make Geomags greatly decrease duration and increase damage similar to Nighthawk[/spoiler]

And you can give us Radiant on demand and Invis in PvP (or remove Devour in PvP for non-Warlock) and make Penumbral "blast" (another tickle ability) actually do something and restore HHSN as a OHK And give us ONE new Exotic of the likes of Loreley or Omnioculus Then we can talk about ballpark balance in the game.

Remember when kill clip was a sought after perk? Now we have volt shot which is just kill clip but instead of a bit more damage it kills entire groups of enemies with one activation. And classes are no different, we don’t even need add clear supers anymore since a single grenade or melee can add clear and with builds you can just keep almost constant ability uptime. It’s a bit silly. Even master level content is a breeze. Saw an arc hunter walk up to a boss in 1600 content and punch it to death in a few hits. I just don’t understand why people are asking for buffs so much when the game is already so easy. Like oh no warlock can’t instantly delete everything in high level content! Okay? I think that’s kinda the point of high level content. And if other classes are doing it then shouldn’t they be tuned down instead?

I think the main reason why arc warlock is bad is that arc web is now isn't good and other classes have it. It should have been stronger and only exclusive as aspect for warlocks. Arc web would have been a really interesting thing to build around in both pvp and pve, it was the only reason why arc was usable in pvp before arc 3.0. And why the hell titans got 3rd melee and warlocks and hunters are only got it as an aspect? Why are we even wasting our aspect slot for it? Yeah, it is strong, but they could made it weaker

It depends on what perspective you look at it from. Solar is probably the most used warlock class for teams, though outside of Well, the class identity is lost. Arc, imo, needs a re-imagining from the ground up. It really didn't deliver identity for any of the classes, despite some being stronger than others. The underlying philosophy of arc representing speed and crowd-control doesn't feel like it does so in context of the character, its more like it is a separate element from character classes as a whole. All 3 classes basically do the same thing the same way (chain lighting via melee), with hunter just doing it better.

My biggest issue is that Daybreak is now the clear loser between the two supers. It’s a shadow of its former self (looking at bottom tree) and can only regain a fraction of its former power if you dump all of your fragments into it. It’s not even close to the power that Well represents. And both Arc Supers are just underwhelming.
