If other titles are slightly changed for the two genders then there’s no reason Kingslayer shouldn’t be
English

That's the problem, Kingslayer is not changed It is tueur de roi for both genders while tueur is masculine Season 17 title is Reaper in english and it got translated to both Faucheur (male) and Faucheuse (female) in french Kingslayer is just male in french

  • The most annoying thing about French is all the gendering of inanimate objects. At least i can still remember all the numbers. Helps as well to eatch their cinema with subtitles rather than dubbing. Excrpt of course the big blue where neither dialogue matches the lips. And it is a case of Jean Reno doing both.

Many languages do that and it's part of the charm, french included. German does this as well. A fork is "female", a knife is "neuter" and a spoon is "male". But male and female in terms of grammar has nothing to do with biology. They could have chosen different terms than female and male for grammatical things because they just confuse some people that think about biology when hearing female/male. i mean english speakers also have their love for it even if they only have one grammatical gender left for the most part: cars are often called with female pronouns and i think ships are male in french and female in german and not sure about english speaking countries how it is there in regards of ships.

  • Ah ok yeah I have never taken/learned French in any context other than a few words so I’ll have to take your word for it
