Ideas for new Aspects

So, I noticed how stasis has 4 aspects per class and the light subclasses only have 3. I’m hoping to have each be a sort of take the subclass in a new direction or amplify what it already does well. Work in progress, happy to receive any input. This will be just void for now as it’s one I’ve been working on the longest. Voidwalker - Null Siphon (1-2 slots) “A Servitor’s ether core, touched and irrevocably altered by the void.” - Defeating targets with void damage shortly after blinking or warping with Nova Warp improves Grenade regeneration and recovery. Doing this while devour is active improves the bonus’s duration and increases Nova Warp’s Damage and Vortex Nova Bomb’s duration. [spoiler]Concept: The goal was to give the underutilized parts of voidwalker a bit of a boost. Blink has basically 0 PvE utility and Nova Warp and Vortex both struggle in PvE. The effect would be a 20% increase in Grenade cooldown rate for 7 seconds, this would be extended to 15 with devour active. This is in the vein of energy drain and would help add on to devour’s current improvements to energy return. Nova Warp and Vortex NB would only see the boost with the enhanced form and would increase Nova Warp’s damage by 20% while active and increase Vortex NB’s duration by 2x of cast while active. This would basically give boosts similar in strength to Knock Em Down on Gunslinger.[/spoiler] Nightstalker - Ephemeral Mask ( “An ancient mask worn around the time of the city’s founding, it burns hot with jealous void flames.” - Tethered enemies take continuous damage and spectral blade attacks deal increased damage when leaving invisibility. Precision hits while crouched or shortly after leaving invisibility reduce dodge cooldown and grant increased recovery for a short time. [spoiler]Concept: An attempt to make Wider tether and Spectral Blades more useful. Spectral blades would deal 1.5x damage when active, and Tether would deal damage about equal to a voidwall Grenade to enemies tethered. (This damage might need to be toned down in PvP). Both would have void flames on the blades and tether point respectively to indicate. The dodge cooldown and recovery bonus was a small thing added on to help keep the loop going. Dodge can help activate invis more often via vanishing step or gamblers+smoke+Stylish Ex. Effect would trigger by landing 3 precision hits in a row (without missing or body shot) within 1 second. This would provide 20% class ability instantly and +20 recovery for 8 seconds. This wouldn’t be able to be re-proced until the timer runs out. (Basically kill clip timer). [/spoiler] Titan - Rusted Alphacage “A vestige of golden age tech found at the Ishtar Collective’s research stations. It’s strange amalgamation of human and vex technology hums with a strange rhythm.” - Increases the size of your barricade, ward of Dawn, and sentinel shield guard. When critically wounded, make all nearby combatants volatile and nearby allies gain increased resilience and strength. [spoiler]Concept: Wanted to play into that more team-oriented tank theme. Size increase would be by ~25% (would need to be checked in game and likely adjusted individually, Bungie knows better than I do on these things). When shield is broken, all enemies in a 10m radius take a very small amount of damage and are made volatile. Any Allies at the same time in a 12.5m radius would gain +50 resilience and Strength stat. Shield break effect would have around a 10-15s lockout upon use. The goal with volatile is that it plays well with Controlled Demo giving health on nearby volatile detonations and also helps with crowd control. The ally buff helps give a support option that’s more passive and keeps the annoyance down of having it activate when no enemies are nearby. I debated buffing shield throw instead of the sizes of abilities, but decided that would be better spent on an exotic buff instead (cough… second chance… cough). [/spoiler]
