I have fundamentally the best internet that money can buy. Brand new router. Good modem. Good plan. Ethernet wired. ISP isn’t notoriously bad. And yet I play against a majority of people on PS5 (I am on Xbox), most of whom have trash -blam!- connection. I don’t know the first thing about net code, or wtf happens behind the scenes, but this is awful. Not even rubber bandy latency, just poor hit registration. It’s infuriating.
