Secant Filaments not refreshing Devour
With Empowering Rift equipped, if you gain devour from any source (orb fragment, Feed the Void, or Secant), Secant filaments does not trigger devour when you cast your rift.
If you have a 3 second timer remaining on devour (from any source), when you cast the empowering rift with Secant Filaments, the exotic perk to grant you devour fails to function and bring the timer back up to the base cool down of 9 seconds. It also fails to trigger the healing effect of devour.
