I have tinnitus, and it’s pretty bad by itself. The last thing I need is for the new blinding meta to constantly make my ears ring even more and not be able to adjust the volume of the flashbang-ringing effect without adjusting all other SFX in the game.
Can the flashbang effect be low-pitched, or can we have a separate volume slider for it?

A perfectly reasonable request I say do it!

Put some ear plugs in

Not to worry. They changed the SFX for it as well. It was mentioned on a Destiny subreddit post. "The blind audio effect is no longer a flashbang sound, but rather a washed-out audio distortion."

I have a crusty ear

First worthwhile post since the arc stuff has been revealed. Bump.

Bit worried about this too. They say it's not going to be bad but yeah, who knows. People whose ears don't always "ring" have no idea really and what seems reasonable to them is often not to us.

Dmg confirmed it isnt a ringing but a distortion/muted of audio around you. I was worried myself. Think disorienting blow on hunter as it is now
