Please give us some ways that the Crucible can be made better and a more enjoyable game mode: >-------->

Make it boot me back to orbit so I can have a reminder not to go in it

Edited by everwilling: 8/21/2022 1:56:07 AMLess toxic players 😂 My first game today a guy left his mic open and the stuff he was saying was pure toxicity…..also shouting at his kid to shut up ! Just pure class 😂

1. SBMM. 2. Buff primaries. If primaries kill faster, specials and abilities will be less of a problem. 3. Bettter maps. All the best maps are D1 maps.
-
Lower ttk. Across the board with everything. Just make players easier to kill. Players have too much health shields healing ECT ECT.

Honestly I would scrap most of it. I would change it to where everyone uses the same weapons. Meaning you can choose the type like hand cannon, pulse rifle, what not. But the perks are static for that particular type. So if you and someone on the other team pick a scout rifle, they are identical.

Hmm... well, here's my list. 1. Matchmaking. As it stands, New Lights are getting thrown to the wolves being matched with Unbrokens, gilded Flawless', and in general just long time players, which is a disheartening thing all around. It's also incredibly unattractive as a more casual player to be facing anyone who lives and breathes any kind of pvp. Personally, it just drives me away when i get steamrolled without being able to do more than emote after spawning in until we get mercied. 2. Rewards. Legit, there's NOTHING to chase. That one weapon we can get a season is relegated to a reward from ANY Tower vendor after enough rank ups. Say what you will about the power level of weapons like Mountaintop or Recluse, but the chase for that power was part of the fun! ...incredibly frustrating though, lmao. 3. New Maps. Hell, i'd even take some old ones from D1 that were revamped for the D2 sandbox. And make it a mix! Long range like Disjunction or short range like Gambler's Ruin. There was even one i remember from D1 that was in a ruined Ketch that was quite fun because of the mix of close, claustrophobic hallways and wide open spaces. That's just my take though.

Consistently & often add new maps. We should get a new map at least twice a year.
-
1: Allow PC players to disable crossplay match making. 2: Delete Disjunction. 3: Improve match making. 4: Monitize and stream, pro tournaments. 5: Have a larger or more competitively experienced team, dedicated to balance and map design. 6: Remove win streak bonuses, OR add loss streaks back. 7: Don't have Survivial as the "competitive" game mode. 8: Give players better rewards for ranking up.

Edited by Grimma: 8/18/2022 11:31:27 AMProbably a controversial take fueled by the pain of grinding jade rabbits catalyst, but a playlist with supers disabled. Let the determining factor in fights be aiming skill and good ability usage, not pressing the "I win now" button

Fix crossplay connection, 1-2 new maps per season, more modes (both new ones and bringing back old ones), more desirable loot.

A toned down version that deals with extremely limited ammo and ability usage, focusing solely on primary usage, kinda like the typical Halo loadout you spawn in with on a Slayer match, but with a rotating weekly modifier to push gameplay towards a certain style, like one week better ability regen and health regen, the next a focus on melee and sliding. Something to spice it up. It’d be easy to work into the lore because it would fall in line with training Guardians on how to better fight while being blocked access from their Light, not all too different to the Red War. Trials as it is focuses on going all out with everything you have, this would be the opposite to that.
-
A mode with infinite heavy and special like in Dares. Better loot.
-
Delete the Crucible ~ Keep Trials where it's at to include freelance...
-
If I was in charge pvp would die because people wouldn't be able to get kills.
-
Hire Activision to come back.
-
I don't think they can. And if they could, I think it so extremely unlikely that they would you may as well say it's not going to happen. Crucible will be a cheese-driven, spamming game until Destiny 2 concludes.
-
Dedicated servers and do away with crossplay until the systems can communicate with each other better. The amount of players that won't take damage is obscene.

Edited by George-A-Custer_: 8/18/2022 2:05:50 AMNo radar. Should take at least 2 taps for sniper or shotgun kills and yes trace rifles also. Hand cannons and sidearm Should not be able to shoot across the map!
-
I would give some examples, but I don't work for Bungie, wouldn't be recognized if they used my ideas, and I don't care if they fix Crucible or not. They're are the professional game devs, let them figure it out.
