Arc 3.0 is going to be bad for warlocks
Can this be warlocks time to shine please for once you had void be for hunters and solar for titans can arc be for the warlocks ?!? You failed miserably with void and was meh at best for solar can for once warlock get a really good subclass change and not oh no it’s horrible change
!We need to have all classes be good and not just one or the other !
hunters got void with infinite invis and debuffs and with solar got infinite abilities to spam (crowd control) and huge dps buffs
Titans got solar/ void with one being an ad clearing maniac with huge boss dps and one with almost infinite overshield sand defense capabilities (looking forward the arc 3.0 it’s going to be nuts for titans)
Warlocks got a mediocre ad clearing at best with void and the same with solar with the exception of the fusion spam (witch is decent but holds nothing to what other classes can do)
Can arc 3.0 finally put arc warlocks back into playable territory we don’t want a repeat of solar/void it should be the month of DarthSidious!!! (palpating lol)

Void warlock is extremely op and all solar did was scale down well so it was in line with bubble and buff the healing which was what solar lock needed, the Arc patch notes are pretty awful for warlocks though. I don’t know what to say, warlocks are a support class and they’re pretty damn good at it.

no? what is bad about the current arc warlock? the fact you can't mix ability, and obv a chaos reach buff dmg is needed

2 RepliesEeehm. Warlock got the best deal out of void AND solar. Hunter got NOTHING new in void. And hunter got a weaker melee in solar. Warlocks got tether on rift use. And warlocks got the highest damage grenade and the best healing and the best ignites in the game with solar.

Jumped the shark a little bit there, don't you think? Anyone who says Voidwalker is mediocre ad clearing at best has never really played Voidwalker. In fact Voidlwalker with 3.0 was done pretty darn well, and is very strong. Solar was a bit of a let down for me, but is overall still a decent option. My problem lies in the "democratization" of certain abilities. Warlocks on that front gave up the farm, and got very little in return.

Can we maybe, oh I don’t know, shut the -blam!- up about how bad a bunch of abilities are going to be before they’re even used? Maybe, if at all possible, we could try USING THEM for a little while before deciding they’re the worst thing I’ve ever seen?! -Sincerely a Stormcaller main who actually really -blam!- likes the idea of using Ionic Traces, Arc Web, Pulsewave +, both Stormtrance supers combined, some new teleporting melee, and probably more under a single loadout

1 ReplyBefore 3.0’s were even a thing, all 4 of the warlock subclasses were viable for endgame (some more than others). The same could not be said for Titans and Hunters. I’d tell you all to stop btchng, but it’s actually kind of entertaining. Nobody’s even losing anything here, yet there’s still complaints.

Warlocks are getting a new strong arc melee, improved arc soul and have some of the best armor exotics to make arc builds.

I'm more excited for the new rumored "Vapor" subclass in Light Fall. I'm especially going to love when bungie nerfs the ever loving piss out of it like they did with Stasis in the first week only to turn around and give Hunter's shatter dive and leave that untouched for months. ☺️

I have come to realize that Bungie does changes for classes in a specific order: Hunter(1st) Titan(2nd) Warlocks(3rd) They strip the Warlock of all its abilities and when they get to them, they have nothing to add due to lack of creativity or fear of allowing them to feel potent.

8 RepliesHow do you look at an abundance of Jolt (Which is the Arc Chaining, remember) and Arc Soul + Ionic Trace generation and say "Warlock bad" plus you get an Arc Bomb power as melee now and that sounds freaking amazing.

Void is ridiculous on a Warlock. Solar is great for healing builds and grenade spam builds on Warlock but they screwed up Dawn Blade IMO I think Arc will much better than must think here. There’s some pretty interesting things that were done but yeah they really reworked Titans and Hunters so I understand where players are afraid it won’t be good.
