Blink only getting buffed because of hunters?
Maybe Im just annoyed it took this long but really? Hunters are getting blink, thats fine whatever but its also the very first time bungie is finally doing something about blink. Why wait until hunters get the blink in order to buff the warlock blink? When void 3.0 came out, the warlock blink existed, it could’ve used a buff back then. Sure I’m glad its finally getting buffed but it shouldn’t take a hunter to copy the jump to finally buff the warlock one. Im just salty about that, I could care any less that hunters are getting blink. I just wish bungie would stop the hunter bias for once

I just wish bungie would stop the hunter bias for once[/quote] Forgets that Hunters had blink in D1 for arc Forgets that Hunter blink was terrible compared to Warlock Blink Forgets that if they were to return this ability they would obviously have to make the warlock one better because thats how it was in D1

2 RepliesI don't normally ever buy into the whole Bungie class bias theories but it is pretty funny how they skipped over buffing blink for warlock in void 3.0 just to buff it once they gave it to hunters.

They knew blink wasn't that great before which is why warlocks had an exotic to make it better. Now that blink is getting added to hunters they probably decided to buff it instead of giving hunters a blink focused exotic.

1 ReplyI would think blink is finally getting buffed cause the concerns they had before are no longer factors. Like for example: Airborne Effectiveness is decreased in general which greatly impacts your ability to blink then instantly shoot a person.

I understand your anger. I am a warlock main too. As a warlock player, I've made complaints to have our standard rifts buff because we are an easy target to get put down with ease. And I also made a complaint to have our blink jump buffed, but no response until now. Bias indeed! Hunters have three different dodges when dodging attacks, invisible abilities, and now the returning arc blink that will be a permanent arc jump for Hunters. Which should be a permanent one for warlocks no matter which subclass we use. 🤔

But- it literally says in the same teaser that shows some of Arc 3.0 that they are “looking at void warlocks” right after talking about buffing the basic blink ability.
