Did savathun's song ultimately have any impact? Or did it get dropped. I feel it should have played a part in the Witch Queen campaign but there doesnt seem to be anything.

The bungie content vault

Bungie forgot it. Sort of like they forgot Asher and Eris are friends during Eris’ friends quest in Shadowkeep (in retrospect, they obviously intended to vault Io before Shadowkeep even launched ...).
-
Probably still out there, but doubt we will see any updates about it until/unless savathun comes back in some way. I remember there being some lore out there from before the collapse with some family that keeps it going to pay a debt to savathun.

It dropped off the charts when she died . Meanwhile as the campaign launched Baby got back took off 😁 .

The song probably allowed here to spy on those infected with it, as well as spread distrust and fear. There was also that one shrieker called savathuns song, but I'm not sure the connection.
-
She used it to influence humans and guardians in the years building up to WQ. The event with the factions during splicer was purely from her singing the song.
-
It never charted so the band was let go by their label. 🤔
-
Savathuns Song was a Chant. It was the Announcement of Her Arrival into the Sol System. The more people who Song the Song, gave her Strength.
-
Seemed to be a whole lot of nothing outside of a few lore entries. Maybe it will still turn out to be some thing, but I doubt it.
-
Eris used it to bind us to the Crown of Sorrows.

Man, what happen to Savathun's cleverness!? Literally a God of Trickery. Tries to stop Guardians with 2 match the symbols "puzzles"...

Fat lady sung it

Ingame nothing really Although lore wise they did kind of conclude it Myelin on youtube has a good video on it
