Solstice Class Items (Bonds, Cloaks and Marks) [i]do not[/i] have slots to invest either Kindling or Ash because they do not have any stats to reroll; this has been the case since the start of this year’s Solstice event. As such the Class Items cannot be upgraded in the same fashion as the other Solstice armor pieces. In order to unlock the glow for a Class Item you will need to unlock the glows for the four other armor slots for the respective Class. Two other notes regarding you situation:: First, it is not necessary for you to dismantle a piece of armor in order to then unlock it’s respective Ornament in the Appearance Customization screen. So long as you have earned said item and it appears in your Collections tab (and it actually has a Universal Ornament that can be unlocked), that is enough. Second, the Universal Ornaments for the Solstice Armor were unavailable at the beginning of the Event. A subsequent patch has added them into the Appearance Customization menu, but you are only able to unlock the Ornament for each Armor piece with their respective Glow. This explains why you did not see the Solstice Cloak Ornament available to unlock in said menu. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
