Bungie's hand cannon favoritism?
It is known that hand cannons kind of like bypass all flinch resistance you’ve built into.
If it is not a bug, then what is it?
So what’s the point of building into flinch resilience when most players can easily bypass it… :/

Look into Cronus zen. It's a device that nullifies flinch and gives lazerbeam stability and recoil and lock on aim assist. They're always sold out. Those crack shot never miss a headshot hc users that still never miss when being laid into with a rapid fire high cal round anything are using these. They're undetectable by Bungie on console and don't even break the terms and conditions. It's why trials is so unbearable. I run into cheaters every card.

Hc aint meta right now, what u talking about. Pulse smg, scout and autos can all outgun hcs except for maybe lastword . The only hc thats really consistent for pvp atm is crimson imo. I been trying to use hawkmoon but i get beat by most stuff because of the range disadvantage. Ace is still good but it aint what it used to be , the nerf to hc range screws me alot of times because the other guys can hit me but i got falloff. Maybe next season is going to be a 180 meta but atm im struggling. Jade rabbit is always consistent for trials.

I’ve enjoyed sitting in the back lane with a pulse and not moving in Trials this week. No brain power required, I see why you guys like the playstyle.

We all knew that when they turned one of the most popular pulse rifles into a handcannon -
What they needed to do was remove the oncoming flinch from all handcannons.

It's not Bungie... it's just what players like to use. Also more and more people are starting to kick off about pulse rifles.

Jade Rabbit is actually at the top of trials report right now. That's kind of refreshing I would actually try to go in and use it if my brain wasn't fried from overdoing the gambit earlier.

7 RepliesAren't Hand Cannons considered -The iconic Destiny Gun- in Destiny? But also what Spectra said: What hand cannon are you being shot with? What perks did it have? What perks do YOU have? What's your Resilience stat?

Its the trademark weapon of the game. So they are always tuned in a way that they are one of the strongest weapons in the sandbox. Especially for PvP. Anytime any other weapon threatens that privileged position, the player base complains bitterly.
