Issue with void-only Gatekeeper triumph for Fatebreaker?

I've done void only runs through VoG three times now, but each time, I haven't gotten credit for beating the gatekeeper encounter. Is this a known bug? I'm not entirely sure what's causing it, but maybe if someone is holding the relic, it doesn't count as them having a void subclass equipped? Regardless of the cause, I want to make sure I understand what's going on before I attempt it again. Update: My boyfriend, who participated in our latest void-only run, also had the same issue. He thought that maybe it might've been bugged because we had to swap a player out, but his triumph was also 4/5 completed with just the gatekeeper segment missing. Also, the player we swapped left after Templar, so still a bit of a mystery.

  • Relic has nothing to do with it, im guessing someone was running a different subclass an did switch back in time, usually the dead giveaway for this is the fact that all the other encounter counted but gatekeeper, did you giy make sure that one person yall switch out new it was a void run a checked if they were on void. With my team we check before starting the encounter an we have one person sit back or die just before the last phase to check an make sure the lfgs we have are on the right class. You might tell ppl its a void run but with gatekeeper having a lot of motion an not having everyone in the same room very easy to get away with being a different subclass then what the team wants

Your most likely issue is someone switching subclasses too early after you beat the encounter. You have to wait until you loot the chest and the "next mission" thing pops up on screen.

  • I’m just going to through out a wild guess that it could be a weapon - either incandescent procing solar, or a stasis weapon with headstone or chill clip. Or using finishers with an elemental association /shrug idk guardian, good luck.

  • It shouldn't be the relic as I've seen it proc without issue while someone was holding it. Did anyone use a different subclass during the encounter and then swap back near the end? I have had it once on a different raid encounter that it didn't count and the only difference between that run and the successful one was that someone used a different subclass till near the end (even though they swapped back well before the encounter ended).
