The PvP Problem and How Bungie is Willingly Encouraging it

Im expecting a load of kickback from the dedicated opinion smashers that are destiny PvPers or Speedrunners in general but at this point in the game, i really couldnt care. For years now bungie has been nerfing, the unneefing speed run mechanics like skating. Because like it or not, its an issue. There is no unified speed between the classes in this game. The physics in the engine allows people to pull of things new players dont even know about existing. Movement speed buffs are always welcome from everyone that plays destiny, but i think for certain things its begining to become a MAJOR issue. Eager edge meme flying, PC macro skating all these things are making the PvP sandbox untenable, especially for modes like rift. Whats the play now? Eagers edge swords, macros and skating? I dont understand how in one year bungie nerfs skating, then in the next year bends to the will of the 1% and basically triples the effectiveness of it. This gameplay is a prime example, PvP is becoming a s***show. Even ammoless swords are now more usefull to people than actually engaging normally with the game. I love the addition of rift but this has put me off it big time, many new players in my clan have seen things like this and said " well im not playing this game mode" and rightfully so. Whats the play here bungie? 6 people trying to slow the one person moving at 60mph? Why is this even becoming an argumentative talking point. It was out of the game. Then "speedrunners" demanded skating come back because they could fly past half an activity to bag the fastest time for a youtube video. I really hope whatever the thinking is pays off at some point because i dont see the benefit for the majority here. Rift will slowly turn into a joke Speedrunners will continue to post "world record" runs of raids by glitching under the map and skipping the whole thing And the average player or new player will continue to be put off engaing players like this in any regard competative or socially. I dont want nerfs, i want reasoning in black and white. Why things are this way, what to goal is woth eager edge and gltich skating and why its back in the game but way more effective than before. Why does it exist? Can anyone at bungie explain? Or is it not worth it because the youtube speedrunners are happy with their clips? Peace Gaurdians Have a good day
