Solar Warlock DawnBlade buff

it needs to be buffed for damage and aspect merge to match the previous super build. It is not usable in PvE in ANY serious content. You are more of a liability than an asset. (solo lost sectors i would not dare) We need new aspects to become radiant easier. This chain on chain to activate an ability is frustrating.

I agree, the super is extremely lackluster and needs help; the sword projectile itself doesn't even cause scorch, which is hilarious to me -- it should ALWAYS cause scorch/ignitions, with Dawn Chorus buffing/adding onto the effect of such. Bottom tree got pretty slaughtered in general with 3.0, and middle tree got neutered to a good extent as well with them giving the healing grenade to everyone-- that's all I see 85-90% of people use now in PvP. Off the top of my head, here's what got nerfed / completely removed from Dawnblade's super as a whole in 3.0: • Everlasting Flames Removal-- Dawnblade's super is the only roaming solar super now that can't be extended with kills / other means and has the lowest uptime and borderline weakest damage (without Dawn Chorus); Titans can still throw more hammers, and Gunslingers are refunded shots and can keep firing their golden gun far more (in PvP atleast) than should be within reason. • Icarus Dash-- Cooldown used to be removed during the super at the cost of expending super energy per dash on an already low uptime super-- now it has a cooldown even when the super is active that won't usually be done until the super is over, and can hardly be used in a versatile manner to counteract the slow projectile travel time while being shot at. • Phoenix Dive-- So, funny enough, not a lot of people knew this because a lot of people ran top-tree, but on bottom tree, when you had Dawnblade's super active, Phoenix Dive was replaced with a sword-slam attack into the ground, causing AoE damage + burn; it was just weak enough to where you had to slam right next to someone to 1-hit them, otherwise it would leave you vulnerable to being shotgunned. Now with the new Phoenix Dive (which has a laughably long cooldown and replaces your Rift), you can only sword-slam ONE TIME PER SUPER, AND it consumes the class ability energy. • Touch of Flame (Original)-- The original touch of flame ability that was on bottom tree was pretty straightforward; if a target was taking burn (now scorch) damage from either your grenade, melee, or super, and died while burning, they would always explode. This could synergize nicely above with the Dawnblade sword-slam, as it caused burn damage-- got a group of 10-enemies under you? Slam that sword down, cause them all to burn, and whatever died, exploded and finished the rest AND extended your super with Everlasting Flames. Now Scorch has to reach a specific threshold to cause an ignition, as Warlock don't have an 'instant ignition on kill' ability like Titans/Hunters, making it so we can basically never proc ignitions on anything but high-health enemies unless we sacrifice out seasonal mod on the class item that causes ignitions with solar headshot kills (only) on scorched enemies, which every class has access too anyways. BONUS: Most people also don't realize that with middle-tree's healing grenade getting put into it's own catagory for everyone, Warlock's lost their ability to stay airborne / 'float' in the sky while charging their healing grenade. To add fuel on the fire (no pun intended), the inconsistency bug with Dawnblade's projectile either hardly doing damage / not doing damage at all while hitting an enemy/player that is airborne is still in the game almost 5 years later and hasn't been addressed.
