Hi Bungie,
So at what I first thought was my Xbox overheating quickly turned to what I think is game issue. Mind you it’s not a big world issue. I can raid and do all activities in the world of destiny with no issues. However, when I was showing my new to destiny friend around the tower we were going back above the hanger towards the fan tunnel when crash. Not only did the game hard crash the Xbox complete shut off and went into safety mode for over heating. I thought that was weird so I tried again in the tower. Sure enough as soon as I take steps towards the fan room in the way back my Xbox crashed hard. This made me think my Xbox was dirty / dusty so I did thorough cleaning of it and removed all dust from internals. Everything was find from there. I raided, did the dungeon and all other activities within the game for a week until we wrapped up a dungeon session this evening and I told another friend about the issue in the tower. I escorted him back to the fan room which he had no issues with going back into. I warned him if I go back there my game will crash. He didn’t believe me. Sure enough, hard crash again of game and console saying the xbox went into safety mode to prevent damage. It does not matter if I play destiny for 6 hours (when I have the time for that) or 5 min. If I go to that fan room it causes a super hard crash of the system. I realize this is not a big issue. My solution has been to just avoid the fan room at the back of the tower and all remains well. It just seems to me that exploring the tower shouldn’t borderline break the Xbox or take it to the brink. Anyways wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Like I said not the end of the world. I can keep clear of that part of the tower. Just wanted to let Bungie know what I was experiencing.
