Resetting traisl cards in the non flawless pools without loss of mercy and an additional loss needs to be removed. There's way to many stat farmers and curb stompers in the non flawless pool gatekeeping this weekend

Then they would just lose one game on purpose get six wins and reset that way. There’s always a way around it unless you only get one trials glacéd per weekend day
-
There’s no way to fix this issue without just removing the flawless pool itself, of which I believe that’s a separate argument from yours.
-
Nah fam. Let them play the game how they want to. The bigger issue here is Flawless Pool. Remove it and card resetting won’t happen no more 👌
-
Honestly take away freelance and the flawless pool. It splits up the pool too much
-
Can't really regulate that. Trials is honestly a self reflecting mirror you get what you put in and the biggest factor is you. I have come to realize that and abide it. Freelance is a waste of time and only adds more issues but its hear yet the complaints about teammates or it sweaty remain. Its a pinnacle activity its not going to be easy and ticket farming is just more rewarding then actually going flawless and that goes for both winners and losers.

Edited by Meister_Code: 6/28/2022 4:06:27 PMOnce someone goes flawless there should be a permanent flawless pool with all the other sweats. Not this whole weekly flawless pool reset bs. Someone who doesn't pvp often, and has never been flawless, should never match against a flawless player. The "top" players claim to be amazing but refuse to play against people at their own skill level. YouTubers cry because they can't create videos if they aren't mowing people down. So this will never change. We all know Bungie only really listens to the YouTubers, they're free advertising.
-
You got flawless what you’re complaining about
-
y'all really think resetting is wayyyy more common than it is lol. ill play like 100 games to find 1 team of resetters 😅
-
Thats how they want to play the game they paid for, why not let them play? If you could be in a playlist where 95% of the players you went against are worse then you, wouldn't you do the exact same thing? Everyone wants to win, but someone has to lose. That's player verses player games for you.
-
That's a terrible idea.
-
If it upsets you, why do you bother with trials? People like streamers will do anything to win. They actually have subscribers and in most cases, cash on the line from paid services. Trials population is already becoming abysmal this early in the season. All sweats again. Your best option is to simply stop playing trials for good. Not a single weapon or armor piece in the playlist is worth your time. Your clearly frustrated by the experience. Trials gear is not required in ANY part of the game. You can get by without a single piece of gear. Let trials go. I never played a single trials game, as trials is going to really worsen my depression and anxiety. I know my place. I’d never get flawless, so I’m never going to make an attempt. It’s not worth it. You need to ask yourself if trials is really worth the clear mental strain your going through.

This is the worst weekend yet this season. Freelance has been terrible. People just stat farming. It’s dumb as -blam!-.
-
Agreed. We need to get rid of the reason that card resetting is happening in the first place - the flawless pool.
-
Just go back to how MM was on burnout, one big player pool and complete RNG. Get some easy matches, some hard ones and a few in between...everyone wins.
-
I have a suggestion, since it’s the best of the best and they claim to not need “weaker players “ for flawless, for one weekend all the sub 1 kd players shouldn’t play trials. Those saying get good will be here crying about the same issues we cry about. Furthermore it’s trials, nothing serious about it, faze isn’t looking at them, nobody is sponsoring a tournament, not enough people play for it to be competitive
-
Bad players need to go.
-
I just had an idea. What if you couldn’t reset your card until you lost.
-
You have to finish your card or lose 2 games. Easy enough. Can’t reset until then and it follows on other characters
-
They could add a set number of resets followed by a timer to reset it. So maybe it would work like leaving. You get two resets for free, then after that you can only reset once every 30mins or so. That would reeeally help
-
I think a solution is that you can only reset the card if you have lost the match cause most of the stat farmers get a win anyways so that would stop the 1 win reset that way if people don’t want to go into flawless pool they throw one game and done back to 0 wins and the lesser skilled players can have an easier time with the lower wins on the cards
-
Ahh yes, another way to keep "casuals" out of Trials by making them farm Glimmer in order to play Trials because every card resulting in a loss means buying another card for 50k glimmer meaning they can play 5 times total. Exactly what we need ...
-
I noticed something very weird in addition, Nearly every single game I was cross matched with in trials were Stadia players. Occasionally it was one other xbox player but generally the rest were always Stadia. Is there something going on console wise leading people to favour playing on Stadia specifically for Trials??
-
I’m curious, cause this week I haven’t gone flawless but it’s shown that my flawless is filled as if I have, why is that?
-
I 100% agree man they pretty much gate keep the whole playylist and it sucks
-
We all know that the type of person who does a card reset is desperate to keep things as they are. Even if you remove the ability to reset a card when it's still Flawless, they will still find a way to get around it. They will pause the ongoing carry or whatever it is they're doing, solo/duo queue into a random match or two and quit immediately. AFAIK there still isn't a penalty for repeatedly quitting Trials matches, so they don't even have to throw the game and take the deaths - God forbid they have to lower their stats at all.
-
A simple solution is a time-out for those with win streaks -blam!- their card - similar to a leaving the match timeout. It will quickly change the dynamic pretty quickly if people have to wait 30 minutes to play again once they reset a card. It will also guarantee people that reset legitimately are not effected when they have flawed their card. Freelance highlights a system that was put in place with the mindset of clans actually wanting to prove their worth in PVP. But instead has become a cesspool of resets to pad KD stats – Freelance should have shipped with something in place to counter resets for people to pad their stats - wither a cooldown or a card for it. This morning I wanted to run some cards before work, only to constantly be matched against flawless players who have 50-100 wins this weekend. Getting better at PVP and trials is almost the only thing I still play D2 for. But the lack of actual attention to the modes is killing off any desire.
