Who are you Guardian?

Okay, we talk so much more about the vast characters, ideas, artifacts and legends that we are faced with in the game, but I want to take a moment to ask about you. What the lore behind, YOUR guardian. Have you made any? Like what's his name, when was he resurrected, what's your ghost like? What's their name? WHAT IS YOUR STORY. Have you made lore for your character?

Current Alias: Kruger Past Alias: Warlord Kullen Current Ghost Alias: Stillwater Previous Ghost Alias (Assumed Deceased): Confessor Class: Titan Elemental Affinity: Void The Life Afore: Warlord Kullen like many risen of his time was a desperate man. His ghost who named itself "Confessor" was anything but honest. In fact Kullen's ghost lead to his eventual demise at the hands of the House of Devils in old Russian cosmodrome. Confessor's journey to find Kullen was long and slow, the suffering it witnessed would throw any "lesser" ghost into a depression but it pressed on. Confessor was an arrogant thing, rife with a superiority complex that extended to it's need for survival. Kullen was found at the foot of a cliff half dangling over the edge wearing a dusty ripped up lab outfit. His resurrection was immediately followed with his first death, falling off the cliff landing hard on his back. Darkess soon over took him but then... He was alive. Confusion and pain was all he knew as his new companion urged him on to find shelter2. Kullen still in pain agreed to play along making their way to an old collapsed highway overpass. Once in shelter Kullen's new companion began to explain everything from the collapse to his resurrection and the dire need to find somewhere safe. Sceptical Kullen agreed following the highway to the Cosmodrome wall. There they bore witness to the still standing colony ships deciding one of them would make ample shelter thus beginning the tyranny of Warlord Kullen. Years pass as the duo slowly converted the closest colony ship into an impregnable fortress. Every kind of booby trap filled the old ship and at the top? Well that was of course Kullen's thrown filled with weapons and supplies from the many caravans that passed though his territory. He was a king atop a mound of innocent corpses and his pride was unquenchable... Until the Fallen arrived. In the dead of night Kullen woke to a blistering noise, flashes of red and purple light seeped through the hull of his ship like hell itself had arrived at this doorstep. Confessor determined to keep itself safe demanded Kullen go and see what what all the noise and light were about. Running through the corridors of his home careful to not trigger any of the traps Kullen raced to the outer hull access only to bear witness a new threat. Large oddly shaped ships, five of them, looming over the Cosmodrome... HIS Cosmodrome. Confessor slowly approached Kullen from the hatch, a rocket launcher floating at his side urging his risen to act and so he did. With Confessor seemingly at his side Kullen descended his home to meet this new threat only to be met with an army of horrors beyond imaging. These... Things were tearing through the wreckage, throwing salvage into piles, they were taking everything! How dare they lay their disgusting claws on what's mine!? Kullen was furious, his attack was swift and brutal like the fury of a waking god he lashed out from behind the rubble with missiles and void light! The Fallen we're taken by surprise as dregs and vandals fell droves before his fury, Kullen screamed a deafening war cry as he crushed the necks of these filthy scavengers and then... a flash of light, heat, dirt and rubble lashed out at his feet, he flew back tumbling along the ground skidding to a stop face down. The ringing in his ears began to dim as he slowly rose to one knee coughing up blood in his helmet. He called out to his ghost to heal him but.... Nothing. He called again and still nothing... Confessor abandoned him to his fate, slipping away like a snake through tall grass. Kullen was left to die in his kingdom of bones. As the dust settled and the ringing faded he could hear heavy mechanical thuds lumbering towards him, he looked up and saw what could only be described as a six-legged tank and for the first time since his resurrection Kullen was frightened. His foe was beyond him and without Confessor to heal him he was doomed. Fight or flight kicked in and a rush of adrenaline surged through his body as he forced himself to his feet. Where to go? What to do? He looked around panicking for an exit. The spider tank was closing in on him and he needed to act fast so... He ran. Somewhere, anywhere, he ran still coughing blood he saw his exit and with all his might he sprinted for a small opening in the wall that surrounded the cosmodrome. It was dark, way to dark to navigate quickly so he stopped catch his breath, taking a moment to inspect himself. He removed his helmet and felt around his armor for any breaches only to realize he'd been peppered with shrapnel. Whatever round that tank thing fired at him was full of jagged flakes of metal, his armor of torn to ribbons and he was bleeding out. The adrenaline kept him from feeling a lot of the pain that finally caught up to him, he was crippled. At the entrance to the tunnel he could here skittering and clicking then he saw it, those hideous blue eye staring at him though the darkness. Kullen forced himself to his feet limping away feeling along the tunnel wall until it gave way, he followed to emptiness tripping up stairs into a large dimly lit room. He couldn't stop he needed to keep going, not looking behind him he entered long winding hallways full of pipes and ducts until he was met with an opening into the mid section of the wall. The small metal bridge that connected both side seemed to go on for miles but he powered forwarded not noticing the blue eyes staring at him from above. Through hallways and corridors down a set of stairs he pressed on to the outside being met with crisp midnight air that stung his punctured lungs. He wanted to stop desperately but his body refused carrying him through the graveyard of desiccated vehicles to the base of a small hill. He stood there wheezing his final breaths as he lumbered his way up crumbling to a bloody heap at the top of the hill... His new grave. He turned himself over to look at the stars one final time as the world began to fade away. Kullen was a product of the times, desperation, malice, and a lust for power and control but his end was only a beginning. The Life Now: As the story goes the ghost resurrects the guardian a top the hill at the foot of the Cosmodrome. All seems typical at first but the history remains albeit forgotten to time but a fresh start was much needed. After fighting through the wall and finding a ship this life reborn again unfamiliar with his past begins to unfold. No name was ever wanted for a long time for the guardian and his ghost yet eventually they both grew personalities of their own. It was a quiet evening In the tower, the guardian and his ghost had returned from patrolling Oryx's dreadnought only to find the place empty and quiet. It was nice, the guardian decided to rest on some steps nearby turning in bounties and vanguard assignments. His ghost usually quiet during these times chimed in asking if he ever thought of giving it a name. The guardian sat there silent as ever mulling over the question. His ghost began to run out of patients with the excessive tapping on the guardian's data pad until finally he piped up with "Stillwater." His ghost gave him a crooked look "Stillwater?" "Yes, Stillwater, that's your name." The ghost fell silent for a moment chewing on the new name. "Okay, Stillwater it is!" He said gleefully making circles around the guardian, "can I give you a name?" The guardian looked to his ghost amused "Sure" he said with a smile. Stillwater fell silent for a long time as the guardian played on his data pad. "I've got it!" Stillwater proclaimed loudly, the guardian jumped and snapped his attention to his ghost annoyed. "Kruger!" he exclaimed with glee. "Kruger?" Now he was giving his ghost a crooked look. "Well? I mean it seems like a strong name to have given that you've killed gods and what not." Stillwater's voice started to get small as the guardian sat there thinking. "Okay Stillwater, Kruger it is." He said as he looked back to his ghost smiling. "YES." Stillwater said proudly making a fist pump motion. Then the two stayed there on those steps the rest of the night talking about everything that had happened up to them up till that point. The Vault of Glass, Crota, Skolas, and now Oryx, there list of achievements was growing and would only grow from here on out.

Marshall-1 is an Exo Hunter that was resurrected in the Plaguelands just after the SIVA Crisis ended by his Ghost, Ante (this is a poker pun) Was the apprentice of Cayde-6, training alongside Shiro and helping Cayde with many of his Vanguard duties, going under the callsign “Frumious Snake” coined by the armour gifted by his mentor and insignias on said armour Avenged Cayde after his death at the hands of Uldren Sov and now continues Cayde’s legacy by using his belongings Marshall also changed his armour to more fit his new identity Marshall mostly spends his time by playing poker with Guardian and other people in the city, he also likes to take bets in the Crucible Before Cayde’s death, Marshall was widely trusted by the Vanguard but after the death Marshall distanced himself and quit doing Vanguard operations Marshall was even offered by Zavala to take the Vanguard Dare but turned it down Now Marshall goes by the callsign “Gambling Guardian” and is basically a freelance mercenary who will do anything someone wants as long as it’s not hurting an innocent life and has a good gamble pay What about your character?
