Crackdown on unsolicited spam mail
I use the companion app a lot for lfg and over the past 2 months I've been getting a lot of spam mail from "paid carries" who are just send ing messages to random people that joined lfg posts and they seem to be using burn accounts as I keep reporting and blocking them.
For example: over the weekend I used lfg to find a trials team. Then 30 minutes later a random person sent me a bungie message with a link for a paid carry. Then today I joined a fresh duality run and a few minutes later got a spam mail for a paid carry through duality.
It's pretty annoying especially since I don't condone paid carries and find their constant posts annoying since they clog the lfg boards.

Bruh they can't even get blocking people on here right. I still get notifications that blocked users are interacting with my posts/replies. The [b]only[/b] reason this spam is going on is because Bungie endorses it.

Yes, we should be able to set it so we only receive messages from clanmates, friends and lfg fireteam members. It is crazy that they don't already have these privacy settings.
