I take it you mean for weapons? The strange thing is if your primary weapon is a exotic, without an ornament, will sometimes show shaders on them when you preview the shader through collections.

Actually your title only says exotics. It doesn't say wether you mean weapons or armor. Doesn't matter either way. I would be nice to put them on exotic weapons, too.
